Via analyzing the noise conditions of the petrochemical pipeline system, the structure and the style of acoustic enclosure were designed. By the optimized combination of the damping layer, the porous materials and the sound insulation shell, the sound absorption property of the acoustic enclosure was significantly improved. Using this self-constructed acoustic enclosure, the pipeline noise of refinery in Yan'an is reduced from 115 to 94 dB, which makes the noise conditions of the factory meet the requirement of the national noise standand. The acoustic enclosure combined the porous materials and the sound insulation shell with optimized strucure is successfully applied in the engineering application.
