Based on nonlinear contact analysis, effective simulation and analysis for simplified model experiment of wind turbine foundation were conducted by using general finite element analysis (FEA) program ANSYS. Through analysis of strain distribution at steel plate and bond-slip between steel plate and concrete, the value of anchoring strength is suggested 700 mm. Based on contact analysis parameters used in simplified model experiment, the full size ANSYS model is built for studying stress and strain distribution of concrete, foundation steel lop and rebar under extreme condition. The analysis results showed that although cracks appeared at local concrete, but the whole structure had good bearing capacity and could guarantee superstructure to good running for bars carrying load and effectively restraining cracks development. © 2016, Science Press.
