Purpose: The development of a new approach to prognostication and prospecting of endogenous uranium deposits based on the concept of initial concentration of components of uranium ore on the mantle level and the identified depth factors of the formation of industrial uranium deposits in the Ukrainian shield (UkrSh) from ore components of mantle. Methodology: Analysis of geological and structural regularities of uranium deposits of basic geological-industrial types in the UkrSh based on new ideas about mantle source of ore components in close connection with lithospheric and asthenospheric depth inhomogeneities, fault tectonics and manifestations of ultrabasic alkaline magmatism. Findings: New prognostication-search criteria of industrial, primarily with large reserves, uranium deposits formation on the upper structure floors of the Earth crust from the ore components of mantle were identified. It allowed identifying the most promising areas for further differentscale geological works. Originality: New ideas about the features of the connection between the deep structure of the UkrSh and formation of industrial endogenous uranium deposits were refined significantly. The potential formation of industrial deposits of the main geological-industrial types within certain litospheric segments of UkrSh was determined. Conceptually new regional prognostication-search criteria for prospecting of endogenous industrial uranium deposits within the uraniumore province of the Ukrainian shield were proposed. This allowed employing the new approach to the prognosis of industrial endogenous uranium mineralization in different geological conditions. Practical value: Science-based forecasts were fulfilled to identify the areas promising for localization of industrial uranium deposits of the main geological-industrial types within the UkrSh. The most promising areas and objects for further grow of the industrial potential of the uranium mineral base of the Ukraine were identified.

Purpose: To determine new regularities of formation of commercial endogenous uranium deposits of the Ukrainian shield based on the study of deep lithosphere parameters variability that predetermine the appearance of conditions suitable for formation of specialized uranium mantle fluid flows resulting in uranium deposits on the upper floors of the crustal structure which consist of the mantle ore components. This is needed to improve the methodology and results of the forecast of commercial uranium deposits, primarily with large reserves, and to raise the effectiveness geological exploration. Methodology: We have analyzed large amounts of geophysical, geological, and radioactivity geochemical data concerning the peculiarities of formation and conditions of localization of commercial uranium deposits in the Ukrainian shield (UkrSh) taking into account the peculiarities of the deep structure of the lithosphere and asthenosphere, fault tectonics, mantle magmatism. We have used the results of modern petrological, isotopic geochemical studies. Findings: We have determined the depth factors of formation of commercial uranium deposits of endogenous class located in the Ukrainian shield. Their effectiveness has been proved by practical results of specialized studies on uranium at drilled-up well-studied areas of the Ukrainian shield. Isotopic and geochemical data proves the mantle nature of the solutions that formed sodium uranium ore metasomatic rocks. This gives us the opportunity to exercise science estimates of potential uranium-ore productive lithosphere segments of the Ukrainian shield and significantly minimize areas for further exploration works. Originality: As opposed to traditional notions, we have determined that mantle sources of uranium ore formation components and peculiarities of the lithosphere deep structure are of crucial importance for the formation of commercial uranium endogenous deposits in the Ukrainian shield. As they cause uranium mantle fluid flows resulting in uranium deposits formation on the upper floors of the crustal structure from mantle ore components. Practical value: New laws of occurrence of commercial endogenous uranium deposits have been discovered based on the modern ideas about metallogenesis of uranium with primary initial stage of concentration of uraniumore components in the mantle under certain PTconditions. They reflect the specific formation of endogenous uranium mineralization. This made it possible to scientifically substantiate promising territories of formation of industrial uranium deposits with determination of the most probable areas of their localization.

Purpose. To find out the role of tectonic factor in the process of forming of exogenous-infiltration deposits (deposits of sandstone type) to raise the efficiency of geological prospecting aiming the increase of uranium raw material reserve containing in the sediment rocks of the Bug-Dnieper metallogenic area of the Ukrainian Shield. Methodology. The geological-structural terms of forming of uranium deposits of exogenous-infiltration type in the carbonaceous structure of the Palaeogene in the Yuzhno-Bugskiy, Ingulo-Inguletskiy and Saksagansko-Surskiy ore districts of the Bug-Dnieper uranium ore area of the Ukrainian Shield have been analyzed. Features of lithologic-and-facies complexes of the basic uranium deposits of the type have been considered. Generalization of materials on their connection with tectonic metasomatic zones and deep fault in the rocks of crystalline shield has been executed. Possible sources of ore substance have been considered. Study of conformities to law of distribution of uranium in the rocks of different age and in the zones of deep fault which influence on genesis of uranium in covering sedimentary rocks has been carried out. Findings. All deposits of uranium of exogenousinfiltration type of the Middle Eocene age in the Bug-Dnieper uranium ore area are located near the areas of crossing of middle Eocene paleovalleys by the large fault. Probably forming of uranium deposits of sandstone type on the stage of ore preparation was influenced by the uranium bearing underwater inflows from Middle Eocene horizon into the zones of permeable long-living tectonic structures affected by the numerous neo-tectonic motions. Localization of ore formation with commercial concentrations of uranium in the lignite sedimentations of middle Eocene is more probable in areas of crossing of paleovalleys with ancient tectonic violations through which the underground radioactive waters passed and caused endogenous uranium ore formation. Originality. Conformities to law of distribution and terms of localization of exogenous-infiltration deposits of uranium in the sediment layer of the Bug-Dnieper metallogenic area have been defined on the basis of study of influence of exogenous and endogenous factors of uranium ore formation. The role of tectonic factor in formation of the ore industrial objects of the type has been found out. Practical value. Task-oriented analysis of information about the features of forming, distribution and the terms of localization of uranium deposits of sandstone type of the Bug-Dnieper metallogenic area, conformities to law of development of uranium ore genesis in connection with the zones of deep faults contributes to the prognosis estimation of exploration of new industrial objects.

Purpose: To prognosticate possibility of expansion of uranium raw mineral-material base potential within the Orekhovo-Pavlograd mineragenic zone. Methodology: In accordance with the postulates of the new rotary hypothesis by K.F. Tyapkin systematization of lineaments of the Orekhovo-Pavlograd deep fault was executed. These lineaments appear both in the physical fields and in geological features. Metallogenic specialization of anomalous areas of the activated mantle with determined deep sources of useful components (in particular, Malotersyansky alkaline massive) were defined. By results of long-term researches realized by means of the method of deep seismic sounding the basic features of deep structure of the earth crust and upper mantle in the zone of this fault were described. The analysis of the data of spatial distribution of uranium in the rocks of different ages in the Orekhovo-Pavlograd mineragenic fault zone and character of the uncommon Verbovsky type of uranium ore formation discovered in this area have been considered in the paper. Relying on the idea of the mantle fluidic-magmatic alkaline petrogenesis, as a basic ore formation process resulting endogenous uranium deposits, all set objects of endogenous uranium ore formation of different types and ages in the zone of the Orekhovo-Pavlograd fault of mantle penetration was considered from position of estimation of possibility of their formation due to the mantle sources of alkaline solutions and ore substance. The specificity of evolution of uranium-ore formation in considered district was studied. Findings: Close spatial connection of endogenous uranium-ore objects with Orekhovo-Pavlograd fault was set. However, only single ore objects of uranium of different genetic types were discovered within it. Near-fault uranium-bearing feldspar metasomatites in the OrekhovoPavlograd zone are practically absent according to results of prospecting specialized on uranium. There of exploration works on industrial uranium-ore deposits of albitite formation being the basic type of industrial endogenous uranium ore formations within the Ukrainian shield in this region is not reasonable. Results of the researches showed that during mantle penetration into the zone of deep Orekhovo-Pavlograd fault there was no right combination of conditions for ore formation that could result into deposits with significant concentrations of uranium. Originality: Ideas and traditions of scientific tectonic school created by professor K.F. Tyapkin were used in relation to prospecting of areas rich in radioactive raw materials in order to make a rational prognosis-searching complex based on mantle-paragenetic connection between uranium deposits formation and deep faults. Practical value: The materials changed the view on the possibility of expanding the mineral resource base of uranium in the Orekhovo-Pavlograd mineragenic fault zone. It contributes to the increase of efficiency specialized on uranium prognosis and exploration works.

Purpose. To study the geological and structural features of exogenous-infiltration uranium deposits of the Ingulo-Inguletsky ore region in order to develop new criteria for prospecting this type of uranium deposits and to increase the efficiency of prospecting and build-up of costeffective strong uranium resource base of the Ukraine. Methodology. The analysis of geological and structural terms of exogenous-infiltration uranium deposits formation in the carbonaceous structure of Palaeogene of the Ingulo-Inguletsky ore district of the Ukrainian Shield has been executed. Features of lithological-andfacies complexes of the main uranium deposits of above-noted type have been analyzed. The information concerning their connection with deep faults in the rocks of crystalline shield has been generalized. Findings. The possible sources of ore substance cave been considered based on the study of laws of uranium and concomitant elements distribution in the rocks of different age and in the zones of deep faults influencing the metallogeny of uranium in rocks of sedimentary cover. Close connection of exogenous-infiltration uranium deposits of the Ingulo-Inguletsky ore region with neotectonic displacements of long-living faults of the latitudinal extent in the segments crossing the paleovalleys of the middle Eocene age has been determined. We have found the signs proving that the main part of uranium content of multicomponent ores of exogenousinfiltration deposits of the Ingulo-Inguletsky ore region has been formed as a result of the inflow of solutions from ore-bearing fault zones of paleovalleys. Originality. The endogenous tectonic factor has decisive impact on the formation of the ore-forming systems of uranium deposits of exogenous-infiltration type of the Ingulo-Inguletsky ore region. This factor together with the exogenous factors of ore formation predetermines common factors of distribution and conditions of localization of exogenous-infiltration uranium deposits in sediments of the middle Eocene age. Practical value. The association of industrial uranium-bearing deposits of the middle Eocene age with the zones of ancient tectonic faults, which has been exposed to the neotectonic displacements, should be considered as an objective criterion for further effective prospecting. Using regional tectonic and other factors of ore formation we have selected new promising areas in the Ingulo-Inguletsky ore region, where new parts of paleodepressions and new small paleodepressions containing industrial uranium deposits can be probably discovered. © State Higher Educational Institution "National Mining University", 2013.
