In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems for evaluating the college public physical education class teaching quality with linguistic information. We utilize the linguistic weighted averaging (LWA) operator and linguistic hybrid aggregation (LHA) operator to aggregate the linguistic information corresponding to each alternative and get the overall value of the college public physical education class teaching quality, then rank the college public physical schools and select the most desirable one(s) by using the overall value of the college public physical education class teaching quality. Finally, an illustrative example for evaluating the college public physical education class teaching quality is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

The problem of delay-dependent asymptotic stability criteria for neural networks (NNs) with time-varying interval delay is investigated. A new class of Lyapunov functional is constructed to derive some novel delay-dependent stability criteria. The obtained criterion is less conservative because free-weighting matrix method and the technique of dealing with some integral terms are considered. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Gas flow in shales is believed to result from a combination of several mechanisms, including desorption, diffusion, viscous flow and the effect of stress-sensitivity of reservoir permeability. However, little work has been done in literature to simultaneously incorporate all these mechanisms in well testing models for shale gas reservoirs. This paper presents a new well testing model for multiple fractured horizontal wells (MFHW) in shale gas reservoirs with consideration of desorption, diffusive flow, viscous flow and stress-sensitivity of reservoir permeability. Comparing with current well testing models for MFHW, the model presented here takes into consideration more mechanisms controlling shale gas flow, which is more in line with the actual reservoir situation. Laplace transformation, point source function, perturbation method, numerical discrete method and Gaussian elimination method are employed to solve the well testing model. The pressure transient responses are then inverted into real time space with Stehfest numerical inversion algorithm. Type curves are plotted, and different flow regimes in shale gas reservoirs are identified. The effects of relevant parameters are analyzed as well. The presented model can be used to interpret pressure data more accurately for shale gas reservoirs and provide more accurate dynamic parameters which are important for efficient reservoir development. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.

A copper-catalyzed dehydrogenative cross-coupling of benzothiazoles with thiazoles and polyfluoroarene under mild reaction conditions is described. This protocol provides a straightforward and operationally simple method for the synthesis of the 2,27prime;-linkage of thiazoles and 2-polyfluoroarylthiazoles of interest in life and material sciences. © 2012 American Chemical Society.

An automatic measuring instrument for an unconventional natural gas content includes a parsing tank, a thermostatic water bath box, a gas collection measuring cylinder, a balance measuring cylinder, a liquid storage tank, a data acquisition and control system, an upper computer, and a lifting device for driving the gas collection measuring cylinder and the balance measuring cylinder to move relative to the liquid storage tank, wherein both the lower ports of the gas collection measuring cylinder and the balance measuring cylinder are placed below the liquid level of the liquid storage tank. The parsing tank is placed in the thermostatic water bath box. A gas guide tube A is connected to the parsing tank and the gas collection measuring cylinder. A gas guide tube B is connected to the balance measuring cylinder and the outside atmosphere is fed therein. By the adoption of the measuring instrument, the constant-pressure isasteric automatic continuous measurement of the content of natural gas contained in an unconventional natural gas reservoir sample is achieved. Moreover, the measuring instrument is simple in structure, reliable in measurement and analysis results, convenient in operation and high in measurement accuracy.
