The transaction marks SK's first investment in the logistics real estate sector and its largest ever minority investment.  Upon closing, the transaction is expected to generate significant synergies between ESR and SK and will help ESR to further enhance its market leading position in the logistics real estate sector in South Korea and across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Seoul with 65 years of history, SK Group is one of the largest South Korean conglomerates with a specialty in oil & gas, telecommunications, semiconductor, petrochemicals and e-commerce businesses. The feasibility studies on the transdermal drug delivery systems have been performed to avoid the systemic side-effects and gastric disorders that could be occurred due to the transient high blood concentration after oral administration of antidepressants such as venlafaxine HCl and citalopram. When surfactants of tween 80® and plasticizer of diethyl phthalate were combined with citalopram-ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) matrix, the permeation of citalopram showed the best enhancement. As well as, venlafaxine HCl gels were prepared using carbomer, oleic acid and/or propylene glycol to enhance the skin permeation of venlafaxine HCl. The citalopram-EVA matrix containing tween 80® and diethyl phthalate as permeation enhancers might be a good transdermal delivery system for providing sustained plasma concentrations of citalopram. Also, venlafaxine HCl showed the possibility to be enhanced skin permeation in the formulation of gels with carbomer including penetration enhancer, oleic acid and/or propylene glycol. © 2012 The Korean Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.

A series of 3-aryl-3-azolylpropan-1-amines was prepared and screened for its capability of inhibiting monoamine reuptake. Analogs with nanomolar potency, good human in vitro microsomal stability, and low drug-drug interaction potential were described. In vivo models were used to evaluate the compound 19r for antidepressive, anxiolytic, and analgesic activity. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

This paper presents a recent case study about how South Korea has modified the way it addresses digital incidents. To determine the best approach to mission-critical instances, the Multilateral Joint Analysis (MJA) model was used as an enhanced two stage process. The Delphi method and Structural Equation Model (SEM) were employed to determine the final model. This process established a governance mechanism that uses measurable control variables and is presently in use in mission critical services to protect against digital incidents. © 2015 Elsevier Ltd.
