As the detection efficiency and defect evaluation accuracy of traditional ultrasonic testing of weld is low, in this paper a new control system is developed to accomplish high-efficiency and high-precision evaluation of weld. This system includes Centralized Control, Control of ultrasonic probe and running mechanism. The heart of the system is DSP, and it can control motion of the scan robot along the circular rail and ultrasonic probe along radial direction of circumferential weld, and realize collection and processing of ultrasonic signal by the comprehensive application of computer, automation, precision instrument, motor driver technology. Practice shows that this new system has realized digital, intelligent, automation of ultrasonic weld inspection, and improved Reliability and efficiency of weld inspection. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The scheme based on soft redundancy and ZigBee is introduced due to the inadequacy of existing mine gas concentration monitoring system. The system is divided into underground and aerial parts. The gas concentration of mine working site can be tested automatically by underground part, which can transmit the data to the ground using ZigBee wireless communications technology.Two sets of identically configured PLC control system constitute the aerial part, which can meet redundancy requirements by procedures and directives. The solid technical support in mine safe operation can be provided based on the system, which improves the stability and reliability of the gas concentration monitoring. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In the paper, taking the particles suspension for filtered object, the effect of the long fiber bundles bulk density on filtration efficiency was studied through the filtration experiments with the designed experimental equipment. And combining with the filtering model of long fiber bundle filter to do fluid analysis, the result show that, for the filtering velocity is 72m / h, in the filtration efficiency, filtration cycle, backwashing and other aspects of comprehensive performance of long fiber high efficient filter are best when the packed density is 73kg/m3. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This paper details the fatigue life prediction model for welding components based on hybrid intelligent technology. We make use of the capabilities and advantages of rough set theory, particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm and BP neural network for establishing of the fatigue life prediction model. Firstly, rough set theory was used to deal with the original fatigue sample data; the minimum fatigue feature subset was obtained. Secondly, improved PSO algorithm was used to optimize the initial weighs and thresholds of the BP neural network, which resolves such problems as local extremum and slow convergence that exist in the traditional BP neural network. At last, minimum reduced subset was inputted into the optimized BP neural network to construct the novel fatigue life prediction model for welding components by the continuous training and adjusting. Sample data of the titanium alloy welded joints was used to verify the correctness and validity of the novel fatigue life prediction model, simulation results show that the fatigue life prediction model proposed in this paper has better fault tolerance, higher precision, and can fitting fatigue life value more accurately than traditional BP model. Consequently, the model based on hybrid intelligent technology can provide an effective new approach to predict the fatigue life of welded joints. © 2015 Elsevier B.V.

The course Mechanical and Electrical Drive Control, which is a compulsory course for the mechanical and electrical engineering in our school, has a strong engineering practicality. A large number of experiments are taken in this course to achieve good teaching effect. By analyzing of the status of PLC experiment links, this paper put forward to control object according to force control configuration software. Inverse design is the process of using a certain means of measurement to measure entity or model, and according to the measurements, refactoring physical CAD model through Three-dimensional geometric modeling methods. Basing on the little model, use reverse engineering methods, three-dimensional scanning technology and Raindrop Company produced the inverse engineering software to finish the reverse three-dimensional modeling design of little bear punch. Applying Master CAM to set parameters, simulation run, and automatically generate NC code, in the vertical machining center, complex curved surface NC machining of the model can be finished. In engineering practice, it can improve work efficiency, reduce the labor intensity of product development, and reduce the artificial error of the design. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The mechanical seal bench is the test platform for the leakage of the mechanical seal.The mechanical sealing leaking are closely related to the fluid pressure and temperature.The control system of the fluid pressure and temperature be designed to meet the needs of mechanical seals working in defferent conditions and the system of the leakage data acquisition and processing are designed based on C51 and C++BUILDER. In order to research the filtration effects of fiber bundle filter with three kinds of different entrance position, the oil-water separation model of two-phase flow is established. Keep other parameters constant and perform an analysis in detail on the outlet concentration of oil content. Describe the influence that filtration rate brings, which varies among 20m/h, 40m/h and 60m/h. Then an experiment has been done to verify the result. It is shown that, the entrance position located on the top of filter can obtain better filtration effect than the other two. In view of the consideration for filter precision and processing capacity, the 40m/L filtration rate is more reasonable. Besides, its filtration cycle is 14h and purification rate is more than 92%. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The performance of the BF type flexible drive in using is worse, the pressure of the round is larger and uniform, and even be negative, so it is easy to lapse institutions. Increase the transmission through the gravity balancer equipment; it is the better way to solve existing problems. By designing to transform the structure of the gravity balancer and optimizing the parameters of gravity balancer equipment, the stress of all wheels will be greater than zero and the total pressure of round become smaller, the loaded and no-load pressure of the round is the same. So it is a very good solution to solve the problem of gear wear, the performance can be greatly improved, it provides a way to improve and optimize the existing equipment, and it would have good development prospects and market value. © (2010) Trans Tech Publications.

For lack of structure rigidity foundation and radial force diminishing exponentially with the distance of gland, a newly packing sealing structure with opening and hollow metal ring supporting is designed. Through finite element analysis, it comes out that the disadvantages are divided adding effect of high pressure resistant.
