The deformation resistance of SWRH82B steel during hot deformation was studied with Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator. The stress-strain curves were drawn, and the effect of deformation temperature on its deformation resistance was analyzed. The results showed that under the conditions of varied fixed deformation degrees from 0.3 to 0.8, deformation resistance decreased obviously with the increase of deformation temperature from 860 to 1110°C. When the deformation rate was 0.1, 1, 10 and 40 s-1, respectively, the higher the deformation temperature, the less the deformation resistance. When the deformation temperatures were 860, 910, 960, 1010, 1060 and 1110°C, respectively, there was a mild decline in deformation resistance with the increase of deformation rate. The relationship between deformation temperature and deforming resistance of 82B wire rod was established, ο=162.6283exp(-2.28815T+8.04316), and the fitting accuracy reached above 99%.

Large amount of lightly fired dolomite powders could not be utilized effectively in Shuicheng Iron and Steel. Effects of mass ratio of lightly fired dolomite and dolomite and the content of MgO were explored in a laboratorial sinter pot. The results show that: as the mass ratio of lightly fired dolomite and dolomite increases, the sinter quality and the low temperature reduction differentiation performance first increases, then decreases. When the mass ratio of lightly fired dolomite and dolomite is 0.67, the tumbler index is 68.26%, shatter strength 73.51%, sinter yield 76.14%. While the content of MgO changed form 1.9% to 2.5%, the effect of MgO content on sinter quality is not apparent. RDI+3.15 of sinter improves while TFe decreases from 54.27% to 53.28%. When the mass ratio of lightly fired dolomite and dolomite is 0.67 and MgO content reaches 1.9%, metallurgical properties of sinter would be the best.

For the technical difficulties of defect detection on high-speed wire surface, the segmentation technology of wire defects under complex illumination is researched. As the gradient histogram has multi-peak, a peak selection standard is described and then a piecewise self-adaptive fuzzy threshold method is provided based on the fuzzy threshold with double humps. Using this method, the wire can be segmented from the complex background. In order to extract the defect edges ahead, a contraposition traversal method is provided. The final test results shows that the methods provided can deal with the continuous gray problem caused by uneven illumination and extract the defect accurately, and thereby lay a foundation for the further study on the vision recognition of wire defects.
