The motor is configured to transmit rotation to the transmission, and a resultant force member to which rotation from the transmission and from the manual drive force is transmitted. The transmission has a first sun gear, a second sun gear, a first ring gear, a second ring gear, a first planetary gear, a second planetary gear and a third planetary gear. The first, second and third planetary gears are separate individual gears. The first planetary gear is engaged with the first sun gear and the first ring gear. The second planetary gear is engaged with the second sun gear and the third planetary gear. The third planetary gear is engaged with the second planetary gear and the second ring gear.

The present invention is directed to a magnetic seal device comprising a magnetic sleeve (7) having a cylindrical body (71) and fitting on an outer peripheral surface of a rotatable shaft (3), a ring shaped magnet (8) being arranged radially outwardly from an outer peripheral surface of the magnetic sleeve (7) with a gap, and forming a magnetic circuit between the outer peripheral surface of the magnetic sleeve (7) and the ring shaped magnet (8), and a magnetic fluid (10) being maintained at the gap. The magnetic sleeve (7) includes a groove (72) arranged circumferentially around the outer peripheral surface of the magnetic sleeve (7), and a flange (73) extending radially outwardly from and circumferentially around the outer peripheral surface of the magnetic sleeve (7), wherein the flange has a diameter that is larger than a diameter of the outer peripheral surface of the magnetic sleeve (7). The invention is further directed to a fishing reel comprising such a magnetic sleeve.


A bicycle control device controls a motor to assist driving of a wheel of a bicycle. The bicycle control device includes a controller configured to control the motor and an operation unit configured to be operated to switch operation modes of the motor. The controller includes at least a walk mode as the operation modes. In a case that a rotation speed of a wheel becomes lower than or equal to a predetermined value while the motor is driven in the walk mode, the controller is configured to control the motor so as to gradually decrease output of the motor and then stop driving the motor.


A bicycle control device controls a motor to assist driving of a wheel of a bicycle. The bicycle control device includes an input unit and a controller that switches, when the input unit is operated, between a ride mode that controls the motor in correspondence with manual driving force and a walk mode that drives the motor in correspondence with the operation of the input unit. After switching to the walk mode, the controller drives the motor in correspondence with the operation of the input unit.

The present invention is directed to a fishing reel. The fishing reel comprises a reel body (1), a housing part (4) including an opening part, a driving member including a pinion (3) that is rotatably supported by the reel body (1) and extends through the opening part of the housing part (4), and a magnetic seal device affixed to the housing part (4) and including a central opening through which the pinion (3) extends. The magnetic seal device includes a magnet (8), first and second magnetic plates (9a, 9b) securing the magnet (8) therebetween and a magnetic fluid (10) that is maintained at a gap between the driving member and at least one of the first and second magnetic plates (9a, 9b). The fishing reel is characterized in that an external diameter of the first magnetic plate (9a) is larger than an external diameter of the second magnetic plate (9b).
