Laboratory and field experiments were carried out along with numerical simulations in this paper to study the effects of porous media on thermal and salt diffusion of the solar ponds. From our laboratory experiments simulating heat transfer inside a solar pond, it is shown that the addition of porous media to the bottom of a solar pond could help enhance its heat insulation effect. The experiment on salt diffusion indicates that the upward diffusion of the salt is slowed down when the porous media are added, which helps maintain the salt gradient. Our field experiments on two small-scaled solar ponds indicate that when porous media are added, the temperature in the lower convective zone (LCZ) of the solar pond is increased. It is also found that the increase in turbidity is repressed by porous media during the replenishment of the salt to the LCZ. Thermal diffusivities and conductivities of brine layers with porous media such as pebble and slag were also respectively measured in this paper based on the unsteady heat conducting principles of a semi-infinite body. These measured thermal properties were then used in our numerical simulations on the effect of porous media on thermal performance of a solar pond. Our simulation results show that brine layer with porous media plays more positive role in heat insulation effect when thermal conductivity of the ground is big. On the other hand, when the ground has a very small thermal conductivity, the performance of solar pond might be deteriorated and total heat storage quantity of solar pond might be reduced by brine layer with porous media. © 2011.

In order to meet the normal property management function demand, from the actual demand of the intelligent community management, increase the equipment management, file transfer, public security and other functions in the system. On the basis of the analysis and research to the application status,technical implementation and the development trend of PDU, according to the existing network platform,we have come up with a solution to realize the remote management for PDU.Through TCP/IP to realize the remote management,it makes sure that power supply and server are safe,through LAN or WAN,it is able to monitor,control and manage the power supplies of multiple devices in the cabinets.At present,we can measure voltage,current,temperature and humidity.The intelligent management also reflects another development trend of PDU,that is greenization.Because of the good product design,the PDU products of greenization can not only reach a lower power consumption standards,but also make the whole data center achieve the effect of energy conservation and emissions reduction by intelligent control,in this way,they can create greater economic benefits for the users. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In order to using harmony search algorithm (HSA) to solve dynamic optimization problems, this paper proposed a binary harmony search algorithm (BHSA) based on hybrid double-coding method. In this paper we use the BHSA, DS-BPSO and PDGA to solve time-varying knapsack problem. The results show that dynamic search capability and ability of tracing optimal solution of BHAS are nearly as same as DS-BPSO, but the robustness and the universality are more superior. © 2013 SPIE.

This paper describes the current situation of domestic online games. According to the present condition of the local network game, we inquired to a Multithread TCP client and server, such as Chinese chess.combining the basic knowledge of Java and Java Swing usage, the article studies the compiling procedure of object-oriented and the method of the network procedure. The article carries on the use of Socket under the Java Swing. The most important thing is how a pair of machines correspondence-C/S service system-is carried out. From here, we put forward the data structure, the basic calculation method of the online game-Chinese chess, and how to design and realize the server and client of that procedure. The design of the game is divided into several modules as follows : server module, client module and the control module. © 2012 IEEE.
