In plasma etching process, various physical and chemical mechanisms affect the feature profile evolution. The relative importance of these mechanisms is uncertain. In order to study the physics mechanism of surface etching process, a plasma etching modeling method is proposed, which combines optimization technique with simulation. This paper developed a cumulative GA with evaluated probability to solve this expensive optimization problem. The experimental results illustrate that simulating result according to new etching model coming from the proposed method is very similar with the experiment. It also proves that the proposed method is effective and can be used to model etching model. © 2014 IEEE.

To deal with the problem of too many answer elements returned from a XML repository in response to a user query, this paper proposes a personalized categorization approach which takes advantages of the user preferences to construct a categorization tree in order to reduce the information overload. The approach consists of two steps. The first step analyzes query history of all users in the system offline and generates a set of clusters over the XML elements, where each elements cluster represents one kind of user preference. When a user query coming, based on the element clusters, a categorization tree is generated automatically by using the C4.5 algorithm and presented to the user, such that the user can easily select the relevant elements matching his needs. Results of a preliminary user study demonstrate that the categorization method proposed has good categorization effectiveness and low searching cost. © 2012 IEEE.

A scheme for radar fault diagnosis is proposed. It is based on artificial neural networks whose learning sample comes from the Pspice simulation. For single circuit, single layer artificial neural networks are used. Aiming at the problems of slow rate of convergence and falling easily into part minimums in BP algorithm, a new improved genetic BP algorithm was put forward. To determine whether the network fall into part minimum point, a discriminator of part minimum was put forth in the training process of neural network. Genetic algorithm was used to revise the weights of the neural network if the BP algorithm fell into minimums. For large and complex system multiplayer artificial neural networks are used, as well as preprocessing layer and post processing layer. It can raise diagnosis precision, shorten to train time, raise fault tolerance and the development of fault diagnosis, effective carry out fault diagnosis. Circuit faults of certain radar are diagnosed using the simulation and neural network scheme put forward in this paper, which testified the validity of this diagnosis process. © 2011 IEEE.

For the visual requirement of position selection virtual simulation for artillery radar, an integrated design method for linkage of 2D and 3D of radar position selection simulation is presented. The solution to a series of key techniques is discussed such as the creating and display of 2D vector map, building of DEM model, creating of 3D scene, linkage of 2D map and 3D scene. The simulation results show that the system is reliable and the method has a good character of real time. ©2011 ETP.

It integrates IETM and artificial intelligence, analyzes its structure and main functions, and studies the key techniques which lead to realize the system, furthermore, meets the aim of optimal management and sharing the resources of artillery radar maintenance. It presents an economic model for a communication network with utility-maximizing elastic users who adapt to congestion by adjusting their flows. Users are heterogeneous with respect to both the utility they attach to different levels of flow and their sensitivity to delay or other measures of congestion. It shows that allowing heterogeneity with respect to delay sensitivity introduces a fundamental non-convexity into the congestion cost functions. As a result, there are typically multiple stationary points. Hence marginal-cost pricing equates users' marginal utilities to their marginal costs may identify a local maximum or even a saddle point, rather than a global maximum. It gives an example to show that heterogeneity of users can lead to class dominance: a situation in which the system is dominated by a single user or class of users under an optimal flow allocation. However, that can be settled by choosing some proper net utility functions and making the sensitivity of the users' to delay is same. © 2016 IEEE.

Based on the research of rough set theory and chaos genetic algorithm, a chaos genetic algorithm based on knowledge dependence is proposed and applied to fault diagnosis of radar. In this algorithm, the binary initial population is restricted by the attribute kernel, and the dependence of the decision attribute to the condition attribute is introduced in the fitness function, and the new design of the crossover probability and mutation probability is proposed, and the new generation of the new generation of individuals is increased. Using the algorithm to diagnose the fault of the radar, the diagnosis rules corresponding to the fault symptoms and fault causes are acquired, and the fault diagnosis system based on fault tree is avoided. © 2016 IEEE.

Due to the different data rates of the sensors and communication delays in the radar netting, the research of the asynchronous multisensor data fusion problem is more practical than that of the synchronous one. Through discussing the sequential approach, which is the classical asynchronous multisensor data fusion algorithm, a new algorithm based on distributed computation structure is proposed. The adaptive crossover probability and adaptive mutation probability are proposed, which consider the influence of every generation to algorithm and the effect of different individual fitness in every generation. Simulation results show the validity of the presented algorithm. © 2014 IEEE.
