Effects of annealing treatment on microstructure and performance of Cu cladding Al strip for 7 coaxial cable were investigated. Three-stage compound method that is surface treatmentrolling compound and heat treatment was used for preparing the Cu cladding Al strip. The results show that with rolling compound reduction of 67% and annealing at 310'C for 1 hourstensile strength and elongation and cupping value reach up to 78 MPa and 23. 17%8. 56 mmrespectively.

A new type of tooling was designed including mosaic cavity, modular abutment, the cooled abutment and the cooled extrusion wheel for copper working, which could save copper materials and cost, and improve the service life and efficiency of the tool.

The application of continuous extrusion technology in the production of oxygen-free copper bar was described. Through adopting on-line degassing, new up-drawing continuous casting equipment with new mould and continuous extruded technology, the oxygen-free copper bar with oxygen content less than 0.0005% and electric conductivity more than 58. 58 MS/m was produced successfully by melting, up-drawing Cu bar, continuous extrusion, tensile and finishing. The technology exhibits short proce-dure, high efficiency and high quality rate.

Production technology of continuous conforming for oxygen-free copper strip was introduced. Adopting large continuous conforming equipment, reversible cold roller with high precision and finished annealing furnace, through melting, up-drawing continuous casting copper rod, continuous casting-extruding copper strip billet-rough rolling-finish rolling-annealing-clean, oxygen-free copper strip was produced successfully. In the copper strip, Cu and Ag content is more than 99.99%, and oxygen content is less than 0.0005%, and electric conductivity is more than 58.58 MS/m with tensile strength of 235 MPa and elongation of 50.5%. The technology exhibits the advantages of short procedure, high efficiency and high production yield as well as low cost.

Flatness control of copper strip with high width-thickness ratio during continuous extrusion was analyzed.
