Lots of import portable survey meters are used in internal NPP nowadays, but the maintenance expense are usually too high. The MPR200 which uses moving average algorithm and cathode switch can discriminate different probes automatically. This paper focused on the development of environmental gamma probe which process the signal by CD4528 for two stage amplifier, and can continue to work for 50 hours because of the large capacity lithium battery. ©, 2014, Atomic Energy Press. In order to improve the localization of radiation monitoring instrumentation, to a certain extent to get rid of dependence of domestic nuclear instrumentation on imports of key components. The paper studies the production process of a sealed gas proportional counter. Application of this process produced a large area surface contamination monitoring for α, β of a sealed gas proportional counter, and provided the important physical indicators of the finished detector such as background counts, flat curve, the detection efficiency of a lengthy testing, and this process is used for repairing a foreign device and the properties were compared. Testing and comparing the results show that this process of sealing the gas can be widely used in various proportional counter α, β surface contamination monitoring devices. ©, 2014, Atomic Energy Press. Due to the needs of the nuclear power equipment, development of localization nuclear instrument needs to speed up the process. This project uses the energy response compensation method, and completes the development of domestic portable gamma dose rate instrument. The Experimental results show that: the development of portable gamma dose rate instrument to meet the relevant national standards, it has unique advantages and high precision. The hand-foot contamination monitor based on CAN bus was described in this paper. Its overall structure, monitoring software and hardware were described in detail. The equipment efficiency and minimum detectable limit have been tested and analyzed. The test results show that this instrument can meet national and international standards. The long term test showed that the monitor is stable and reliable. This instrument can be used at the entrance of the controlled area of nuclear facilities and of the nuclear waste treatment place to measure the personnel contamination rapidly. ©, 2014, Atomic Energy Press.
