The synthesis procedure and dopant are crucial to the electrical conductivity, thermal stability, and solubility properties of polyaniline (PANI). In this paper, high-performance PANI was synthesized by means of chemical oxidative polymerization using anionic spherical polyelectrolyte brushes (ASPB) as dopant. The bonding structure, crystallographic structure, morphology, and thermal stability of the conductive nanocomposite were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) respectively. Meanwhile, investigation on the electrical conductivity suggested that the room-temperature electrical conductivity of PANI doped with ASPB (PANI/ASPB) was 19.3 S/cm, which was higher than that of PANI (7.0 S/cm), PANI doped with poly(sodium-p-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) (PANI/PSS) (14.6 S/cm), PANI doped with SiO2 (PANI/SiO2) (18.2S/cm), and PANI doped with canonic spherical polyelectrolyte brushes (CSPB) (PANI/CSPB) (8.0 S/cm). Meanwhile, the addition of ASPB improved the thermal stability and solubility properties of PANI. ASPB played the role of template. Conductive mechanism of PANI/ASPB nanocomposite can be explained by the theoretical models of three-dimensional variable range-hopping (3D VRH). © 2015 by the author; licensee MDPI, Basel, Switzerland.

With the rapid development of Internet, information explosively grows at a geometric rate. How to retrieve useful information from the vast amounts of multimedia information resources is a hot research topic. A multi-feature-based image retrieval system on the condition of extracted multi-feature has been carried out. PCA method was used for dimensionality reduction. Relevance feedback technique is used to get the connection of system and users, and adjust the values of the features according to the feedback of users, to raise the accuracy of image retrieval and satisfy the users' need. The experiment shows that the proposed algorithm has better retrieval performance. © 2015 IEEE.

Mechanical parts defect detection is an important problem in machinery manufacturing. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel mechanical parts defect detection method based on computer vision technology. Firstly, structure of the proposed mechanical parts defect detection system is described, which is made up of five modules: 1) Image collecting, 2) Image processing, 3) Image analyzing, 4) Image understanding, 5) Industrial control. Secondly, the SVM based mechanical parts defect detection, in which the parameters are optimized by the quantum behaved particle swarm optimization algorithm. Thirdly, to testify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, the MV-1300UM industrial digital camera is used to collect mechanical part images, and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve high recognition rate. © 2015 IEEE.

In this paper, we focus on the problem of massive data retrieval, which is of great importance in data management and searching. To enhance the effectiveness of massive data retrieval, we introduce the Top-k query technology in this work. Top-k denotes to the method which only returns the top K most important objects according to a given ranking function. To tackle the limitations of the existing Top-k query, we proposed a modified Top-k query algorithm. In this algorithm, we select the data elements which have higher ranking scores on each attribute, and then run a threshold controlling scheme on these data elements. Finally, to make performance evaluation, we collect a dataset from US census dataset. Experimental results demonstrate that compared with PDG method, our algorithm can achieve better performance both in retrieval effectiveness and retrieval accuracy. © 2015 IEEE.

This paper studies the digital image watermark technology and first introduces digital watermark technology in detail to learn and study basic principle, elementary features and system design of the digital watermark technology. For some defects of the traditional digital watermark algorithm, this paper proposes a cosine-based digital watermark algorithm and mainly analyzes DCT watermark scheme and analyzes image watermark generation, embedding and extraction of DCT domain in detail. The experimental results indicate that this algorithm can better consider the transparence and robustness requirements of the watermark technology.

For the problems in the production process of complex three-dimensional dynamic model, especially in the production process of the large amount of high-finesse, is often encountered in many uncertain factors that lead to the production of time-consuming and laborious. In this paper, mapping and tracking of skeleton points are realized using Kinect and motion capture is carried out using created skeleton model. The extent to which anionic spherical polyelectrolyte brushes (ASPB) as dopant improved the performance of polyaniline-polypyrrole (PANI-PPy) nanocomposite was investigated. Different characterization and analytical methods including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed that ASPB serving as dopant could improve the comprehensive properties of PANI-PPy nanocomposite. It was different from dopants such as SiO2, poly(sodium-p-styrenesulfonate) (PSS), and canonic spherical polyelectrolyte brushes (CSPB) which only enhanced the performance of PANI-PPy nanocomposite on one or two sides. The electrical conductivity of (PANI-PPy)/ASPB nanocomposite at room temperature was 8.3 S/cm, which was higher than that of PANI-PPy (2.1 S/cm), (PANI-PPy)/PSS (6.8 S/cm), (PANI-PPy)/SiO2 (7.2 S/cm), and (PANI-PPy)/CSPB (2.2 S/cm). Meanwhile, (PANI-PPy)/ASPB nanocomposite possessed enhanced thermal stability and good solubility. In addition, the effects of polymerization temperature, the molecular weight of grafted polyelectrolyte brushes, and storage time on electrical conductivity were discussed. © 2015, Su.
