This paper reports a precise design and development for ecg signal generator for testing and calibration of the electrocardiogram equipment, ecg signal processing system and heart teaching tool. It can create a guideIIsignal of time and profile features lead II signal across a range of ecg drawings of heart rate within 45 to 185 devices in the first device of steps. This can be set up 15 ∼ the QRS 45 years old lady with a lady who resolution. P, T wave amplitude can be adjusted from 1-100% to 1% of the total of the amplitude QRS complex resolution. A color LCD touch screen is able to provide the user with input parameters facilities, depending on the output waveform parameter and a graphical representation of the output waveform. Signal generator outputting signal of poor precision through digital simulation stage using low noise design provides accurate signal amplitude QRS the lower end of the technology range. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

The local existence and uniqueness of weak shock solution in steady supersonic potential flow passing along a 2-dimensional wedge were discussed. The free boundary problem was transferred to a fixed boundary problem by part-hodograph transform. Then by choosing a proper multiplier and integrating by parts, the energy estimation of the linear Goursat problem of the hyperbolic equation can be carried out in an easier way.

Nowadays, more and more nanotechnology products and nanomaterials are being applied in our lives. Silver nanoparticles (SNPs) are used in infection prevention and treatment due to their antimicrobial activity. However, as a kind of nanomaterial, the toxicology of SNPs has not been completely studied. The mechanism of cytotoxicity of SNPs in vitro to mouse's fibroblast cells (L929) was investigated in this study. As a contrast, silver microparticles (SMPs) were also studied. Propidium iodide (PI) single staining and Annexin-V/PI staining were carried out to unveil the influence of SNPs and SMPs on the cells. A transmission electron microscope (TEM) was used to observe SNPs' distribution in the cells. The results of cell cycle analysis indicated that the cells treated with SNPs were arrested in the G2M phase. Meanwhile, SNPs lead to apoptosis of more cells compared to SMPs at the same dose as a result of apoptosis analysis. Analysis of the cells' ultrastructure showed that SNPs could be phagocytized into the cells while SMPs could not. The mechanism of cytotoxicity of SNPs in vitro to L929 cells may be that SNPs are phagocytized into the cells and they interact with mitochondria or other organelles, even nuclei, which results in cells' apoptosis or necrosis. © 2010 IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this work, a model of evolution of hepatitis B cirrhosis based on catastrophe theory was put forward, Witch can reveal the evolution of cirrhosis and then help develop effective treatment programs. The mechanism of interaction among antigen, antibody, and B cells was researched in the immunization model of hepatitis B virus. Based on the feature of hepatitis B cirrhosis, the model of hepatitis B virus immunization was improved, and an evolutionary model of hepatitis B cirrhosis was proposed. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) is an important proinflammatory and immunoregulatory mediator, which locates at the apex of the cascade of innate immune response. It also plays an important role in regulating adaptive immune responses and counter-regulating the immunosuppressive effect of glucocorticoid. MIF is actively involved in a series of cell processes such as cell proliferation and differentiation as well as cell apoptosis. MIF is reported to regulate the host immune response to parasitic infection. Interestingly, the ortholog of mammalian MIF was identified in multiple parasites such as Plasmodium spp., Leishmania major, Brugia malayi and so on, which is actively involved in the regulation of host-pathogen interaction and therefore provides a novel immune evasion mechanism. Therefore, development of small molecular inhibitors and vaccines against MIF will pave a new avenue for the prevention and treatment of related parasitic diseases.
