Concept-Resources Maps Authoring System is an independent software R&D by Shanghai Distance Education Group. Concept-resources maps conceive a new way to exhibit education resources. With the help of Concept-Resources Maps Authoring System(CRMAS), teachers and students can combine and organize education resources by means of concept maps. This paper first introduced research background, analysised meanings and main features of CRMAS, then analyzed the system's architecture and RIA technology, and finally introduced its application in 52 laboratory schools in Shanghai. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

With the fast development of cloud computing, education "cloud" has become a research hot spot. The integration of cloud computing and education has important impact on the establishment of an open, flexible learning service platform and on implementing resource sharing. By analyzing the current development of education cloud, this paper presents the architecture of an education cloud service platform and principles for designing various cloud services such as search, learning, resource service, and management. Based on the architecture we designed and developed a "Mobile Class" system for lifelong learning. This paper also reports the results of our usability testing with targeted users. © 2012 IEEE.

Multi-agents act as independent traffic entities in traffic simulation system, and temporary scenes come into being just like in the real traffic world. It is complex and difficult to define and model the actions and interactions of multi-agents. In the paper, it put forwards that: the process of the agent's selecting appropriate strategy according to the idiographic condition, is also a multiple, multi-mixed-game process. The appropriate game models are used to describe the complex competition and collaboration among the multi-agents. The paper analyses the main agent classes, and constructs game models to describe the traffic scenes with examples. © 2011 IEEE.

With the course of education informationization, digital educational resources increase rapidly. Traditional digital education public service platforms, which are rely on resources service, can not meet learners' diverse requirements for education resources. Under this background, this paper pointed out the concept of knowledge service, constructed a framework of knowledge service system, then studied knowledge service generic technology which changed traditional digital education public platform from resources service to knowledge service. The gradual development of intelligent learning (iLearning) systems has prompted the changes of teaching and learning. This paper presents the architecture of an intelligent learning (iLearning) system built upon the recursive iLearning model and the key technologies associated with this model. Based on this model and the technical structure of a cloud-based intelligent system, the authors developed an exemplary iLearning system-"Mobile Class," accessible from the Shanghai Lifelong Learning Network, an online platform for the continuing education of Shanghai residents. This cloud-based intelligent learning (C-iLearning) system can adopt the cloud management model and synchronize users' learning process in the clouds, so as to support users' continuous learning with different devices. Formal testing with target users revealed the effectiveness of this system in supporting anytime anywhere learning. Copyright © 2013, IGI Global.

On the research of the transcoding and the adaptive distribution and scheduling of education video which is compatible for various platforms, this paper proposes a technological solution of "multi-screen in one" technology oriented ubiquitous learning(u-learning) on the education video, which can realize the seamless joint of education video between different screens so as to ensure the continuation of the learning process, and achieve the intelligent recommendation of relevant video resource. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.

Most literature has shown that online peer assessment could improve students' learning in programming. However, how to help them reflect more detail about their knowledge and difficulties is challenge. Learner models can represent students' state in the learning process. Therefore, the study explores the design and implementation of learner models in online peer assessment to help students reflect their learning. A conceptual framework of learner model is proposed, which analyzes the learning process from two dimensions. The two-dimension learner model is open to not only students themselves but also peers. The results hope to advance the theoretical study and the application to opening the learner model to support learning programming. © 2012 IEEE.

Personalized recommendation is hot issue in information management system nowadays. With the technology, it can improve the QOS of information service. In this paper, we present a new user profile model based on semantic meta-model of digital resource, using implicit feedback, the users' profiles can be adjusted in time. Comparing the 'like' query in the standard SQL in relational databases, which can not decide the similarity according users' interests when keywords appear in several different fields, a novel similarity evaluation is given in algorithm of the personalized recommendation. Using the method, a personalized digital resources management system is developed, which can provide high quality information service, and it works well in practice. © 2010 IEEE.

Universities are facing a dilemma: The training of teachers can improve the competitiveness of universities and meet the needs of teachers in their own development, but may bring the cost of losses caused by job-hopping after training. This work analyzes the factors affecting the overseas training, establishes two-stage and three-stage game models successively, discusses on this issue. The work finds that a better solution is the combination of the two that improving the treatment of teachers and setting the cost barriers for job-hopping at the same time. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
