We consider a stochastic optimal control problem of a forward-backward system in which the control variable consists of two components: the continuous control and the impulse control. The domain of the control is assumed to be convex. Necessary optimality conditions of the Pontryagin maximum principle type are obtained for this stochastic optimal control problem. A multi-attribute group decision-making method based on weighted aggregation operators is presented to solve the decision-making problems which the attribute values and the weights take the form of interval-valued trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (GIVTFN). First, some properties are defined, such as the concept and the relational calculation rules of GIVTFN, the distance and its characteristics of GIVTFN, and the method of linguistic terms transformed into GIVTFN. Second, the normalization method of GIVTFN, generalized interval-valued trapezoidal fuzzy number weighted aggregation operator (ITWA), the generalized interval-valued trapezoidal fuzzy number ordered weighted aggregation operator (ITOWA), and the generalized interval-valued trapezoidal fuzzy numbers hybrid aggregation operator (ITHA) are proposed. The group decision methods based on these operators are also illustrated. With respect to the multi-attribute group decision-making problems in which the attribute values and attribute weights take the form of the interval grey linguistic variables, the multi-attribute group decision making method based on the interval grey linguistic variables weighted aggregation operator is proposed. Firstly, the operation rules, the properties, and the comparing method of the interval grey linguistic variables are defined. Then some aggregation operators are defined, such as interval grey linguistic weighted aggregation (IGLWA) operator, interval grey linguistic ordered weighted aggregation (IGLOWA) operator, and interval grey linguistic hybrid weighted aggregation (IGLHWA) operator; the decision making methods based on these operators are proposed to solve the group decision making problems. This Letter investigates the stabilization of three-dimensional chaotic systems, and proposes a novel simple adaptive-feedback controller for chaos control. In comparison with previous methods, the present controller which only contains single state feedback, to our knowledge, is the simplest control scheme for controlling the three-dimensional chaotic system. This Letter investigates the stabilization of three-dimensional chaotic systems in a finite time. Based on the finite-time stability theory, a control law is proposed to realize finite-time chaos stabilization of three-dimensional chaotic systems. Several illustrative examples with numerical simulations are studied by using the results obtained in this Letter. Study of examples shows that our control methods work very well in stabilizing a class of chaotic systems in a finite time. © 2010 Elsevier B.V. Source
