Nine oligosaccharides were obtained from agarose by chemical and enzymatic degradation and gel filtration chromatography. All oligosaccharides were linked to 1, 2-dihexadecyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DHPE) by a reductive animation reaction to acquire neoglycolipids. Compared with standard oligosaccharides (LNnT and LNT), the affinity of agaro-oligosaccharides to RCA120 was studied using glycochip technique. We firstly found the higher affinity of oligosaccharides with structure of Galβ1, 4AnG-R than that of Galβ 1, 4GlcNAc-R to RCA120 compared with LNnT, and the affinity have no relation with degree of polymerization.
