Traditional wheelchair doesn't have the ability of climbing stairs and crossing obstacles. And it has poor ability of climbing slopes. Aiming at these problems, the author improved the traditional wheelchair with the help of robot and bionics technology. The improvement of the wheelchair simulates the movement of animals with four legs. Four mechanical legs are added to the wheelchair. When the wheelchair needs to climb stairs or cross an obstacle,the wheels retract and the four legs walk just like a four legged animal.When the wheelchair needs to climb a slope,the wheels work and the two back legs push it to increase its climbing ability to avoid sliding back. The seat keeps level while climbing stairs or a slope.The author analyzed its moving processes,designed the parameters of its mechanical legs and also analyzed its ability of climbing a slope.To some extend, the improvement of the wheelchair expands the living space of the aged and the disabled people and improves their living quality. © 2016 SERSC.

In the society with the rapid development and popularization of computer technology, the management information system has become the hot field of software development. It runs stably in the browsers, like IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9 and FireFox, with high efficiency, sound security, friendly interface and simple operation. It has done research on the design and realization process of HTML5 off-line data storage on the Android platform. Under the Eclipse integrated development environment, with Android SDK and HTML5 grammar, develop the system, which realize the functions of off-line storage, addition, deletion and modification of user data. It enables the application of HTML5 of Android platform and has made detailed analysis on the Android platform and HTML5 application module. The result indicates, the webpage application design of HTML5 conducted on the Android platform, is simple and fast, which can better meet the demand of Android cellphone users. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Herein we describe a low-cost method for fabricating high-performance flexible supercapacitors based on 10 nm-scale MnO2 nanoparticles as active electrode materials. The as-fabricated supercapacitor possesses an electrochemical capacitance as high as 645 F g-1 at a discharge current density of 0.5 A g-1, as well as good stability, retaining 95% of its initial capacitance after 2000 consecutive cycles, which ensures its potential for application in microelectromechanical systems, flexible electronics, microsenors and other microelectronics. © 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Based on the study of GSM/GPRS, the research works from special practicality and provides a set of automobile's GPS terminal system. This paper mainly introduces the design of software and hardware. The paper analyzes the correspondence of terminal system and the control center and gives the correspondence rules. It also introduces two display modes, LCD and Graph Matrix Display. ART-2 is a self-organized and unsupervised artificial neural network which can be used to deal with data fusion. But we found that the problem of data overloading is hard to be solved in the process of data fusion. Rough set is a mathematical approach to deal with vague, uncertain and imperfect data. So, we proposed a method of multi-sensor data fusion based on rough set theory and ART-2 neural network. At last, the simulation results show the feasibility and the validity of the proposed fusion system © 2014 IEEE.

For the evaluation of damage to a structure after exposure to fire, the residual mechanical properties of structural materials need to be evaluated first. Many factors can affect the post-fire behavior of structural and reinforcing steels. In this paper, existing test data are collected from an extensive survey of the literature. A statistical analysis is conducted to analyze the effects of heat exposure on key parameters, such as the residual modulus of elasticity, residual yield strength, and residual ultimate strength, which control the full-range stress-strain curves of steel. A simplified stress-strain model is developed, which can be used for both structural and reinforcing steels after heating and cooling down to room temperature. © 2013 American Society of Civil Engineers.

Large file uploading is a problem often occurs in Web applications. Existing uploading components does not support Resume-broken-transfer while most of them cannot display uploading progress, also Cross-platform compatibility is not very well. This paper adopts Fragments-access, Asynchronous-uploading strategy, implements large file Resume-broken-transfer using ADODB. Stream and XMLHttp, obtains higher rates of transmission and real-time display of uploading progress and good Cross-platform compatibility, meets the large file uploading needs in web applications. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
