In order to quantitatively describe oil-gas distribution and enrichment, a method for calculating enrichment value (EV) based on oil-bearing grade given by well logs, logging interpretations and well test data was established. The EVs of exploratory wells in Zhanhua sag were calculated and the distribution of oil and gas in paleogene was analyzed. According to the result, the robust EVs could be gained when higher credibility data is chosen preferentially. The EVs can be used to describe oil-gas distribution and enrichment and can guide to choose exploration district and drilling targets. According to the longitudinal distribution of the EVs, the fourth section of Shahejie Formation (Es4) in Zhanhua sag is the richest section in oil and gas. Horizontally, the richer area of oil and gas locates at deep area in north Bonan sub-sag (well Yi283-Yi178 area). It is suggested that the Es4 may be the most important exploration section, while the deep area in the north Bonan sub-sag may be the surest oil and gas reserve area. © 2016, University of Petroleum, China. A series of novel oligomeric cationic surfactants were designed and synthesized from methylene tetramine, epoxy chloropropane and tertiary amines with absolute ethyl alcohol as reaction solvent. Compounds were verified by IR and 1H NMR. Surface and interfacial activities of surfactants in the aqueous solution have been studied. The effects of the carbon numbers in their hydrophobic chains on properties were analyzed. Results show that oligomeric surfactants posses high surface and interfacial activity. The minimum surface tension and interfacial tension are 27. 6 mN/m and 0. 004 5 mN/m, respectively.

Biosurfactants (BSs) are highlighted owing to their multiple advantages in diverse applications. To screen a superior strain that producing a blend-biosurfactant of lipopeptide and glycolipid, the hemolytic activity assay on blood agar plates, the modified oil-red spreading test and MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry identification of the purified products was carried out. Bacillus subtilis THY-7 was selected and its principal products were surfactin and dirhamnolipid. The medium component and culture conditions of THY-7 were optimized by both single factor and orthogonal experiments. After 48 h optimal batch culture in flask, the cell density (OD600) was 37.0 and the product titer was 2.4 g/L, which was 3.4 folds and 3.1 folds of that under original condition, respectively. A fed-batch culture in a 5 L fermentor was further performed coupling with in situ recovery of foam, in which the titer of blend-BS increased to 4.5 g/L at 25 h. Quantification by HPLC and anthrone colorimetry revealed that surfactin and dirhamnolipid accounted for 74% and 22% of the blend-BS, respectively.
