This paper focus on the practical tracking for a class of stochastic interconnected systems with parametric uncertainties, in which the stochastic exogenous disturbances depend on the output of the local subsystem. By employing a decentralized state observer, a partially decentralized adaptive controller and parameter adaptive laws are designed to ensure the input-to-state stability in probability of the closed-loop system. It is shown that the tracking errors can converge to a small residual set around the origin. © 2011 IEEE. Source

This paper studies the tracking problem for a class of stochastic nonlinear interconnected systems with unknown parameters involved. By employing filtered transformation, the stochastic Lyapunov-like theorem and the backstepping design technique, a decentralized output-feedback controller and parameter adaptive law are proposed. It is proved that the designed adaptive controllers can ensure the boundedness in probability for all the signals in the closed-loop system. The tracking error can converge to a small residual set around the origin in the sense of mean quartic value. © 2010 IEEE. Source

A hybrid hard disk drive includes a hard disk drive controller to receive a plurality of write commands from a host, a buffer to receive and store write data, which are input through the hard disk drive controller and correspond to each of the plurality of write commands, a command history tracker to receive the plurality of write commands and analyze a pattern of the plurality of write commands, and a CPU to control storage of the write data, which correspond to each of the plurality of write commands, on a disk or in a flash memory device based on the analysis result by the command history tracker. The drive may determine whether to store write data on the disk or in the flash memory device without operation system support.

In one example, an apparatus may comprise a controller configured to: receive a signal from a host, the signal being compatible with a data communication protocol at a first data communication speed; selectively implement a first data communication protocol from a plurality of data communication protocols to communicate with a first memory or implement a second data communication protocol from the plurality of data communication protocols to communicate with a second memory based on the data communication speed; store data in the first memory via the first data communication protocol when the data communication speed is a first speed; and store data in the second memory via the second data communication protocol when the data communication speed is a second speed that is different than the first speed.
