The influence of hypersonic on phenol sulfoxidation kinetics in the presence of cobalt complexes fixed on polyacrylic acid (PAA) is investigated in the soft conditions (313-333K). Products are p- and o-phenolsulfonic acids. Phenol conversion under the investigated conditions reaches 98-100 %. The ultrasonic sound in the interval from 0 to 60 kHz leads to aggrandizement of trivalent cobalt concentration in a solution, as a result, increasing the reaction activity. The enlargement of ultrasound influence (USI) modulation frequency and the exposure time results in destruction of a binuclear complex, which may be responsible for enhanced catalytic activity. © 2010 Materials Research Society. Work is devoted to the study of new catalysts on the basis of polymermetalyc complexes of transition metals in the oxidation of toluene. Catalytic agents on the basis of iron (III) complexes with the copolymer polietilenimin-polyacrylic acid put on a silicate substrate have been investigated. In this work the results of research are presented of humic preparations used as natural polymer modifiers for the palladium catalysts. New nanosized catalysts on the basis of palladium - potassium humate are synthesized, extracted from coals of Oy-Karagay and Kunming fields (People's Republic of China). For the first time, the liquid road bitumen is obtained from the residues formed after hydrogenation of charcoal of 'Karazhyra' mine field. According to the values of physical-mechanical indicators, obtained bitumen corresponds to the bitumen of mark MG70/130. Chemical composition of obtained bitumen: 64% mass, paraffin-naphthene hydrocarbons; 13-48% mass, asphaltenes; 21-75% mass, resins. The viscous road oil bitumen is obtained by oxidation of liquid road bitumen, corresponding to bitumen of mark BND130/200 in terms of physical-mechanical indicators. © W. S. Maney & Son Ltd 2015. In present work the paths for obtaining the road oil bitumen are presented from the wastes of coal oil of the Karazhyra field. For the improvement of the quality of obtained bitumen the modification was carried out of elementary sulfur.
