The aim of this work was to research the reflectivity of the heat-resistant tissues in the visible and in the infrared spectra, metallized by method of ionplasma spraying. In the result of studies it was established that the metallizing tissue increases the reflectance in the infrared range by 45%. Thus metallized tissue can be used at temperatures above 500 °C. The results of these tests can be used for further research of processes of metallization and for creating an effective thermal insulation for energy equipment, oil and gas pipelines. Source
