Smart-oilfield problems of data acquiring and processing are considering in this article. One of the main problems of feedback creation for oil and gas production control is problem of field data accuracy. One of the possible ways to data accuracy estimation based onto information analysis of data flow incoming from measurer is shown. We considered all keys factor influencing onto field data accuracy. The methods and algorithms allow both improving the accuracy and decreasing uncertainties in oilfield data. It can be helped to make different geological and technological solutions and also can increase knowledge of oilfield as hydrodynamics object. Source

We have developed new SKL hardware systems for wireline and memory logging in vertical, deviated or horizontal oil-and-gas wells drilled with fresh and biopolymer muds. Employing the SKL systems is accompanied by the development of algorithms and software for numerical interpretation of the electrical and electromagnetic soundings data. The interpretation is based on the integration of the electromagnetic field characteristics measured with the SKL systems. The high detail of investigation and the state-of-art software allow to reliably reconstruct spatial distribution of electrical resistivity in complex terrigenous formations. Source

New Russian logging-while-drilling equipment for investigating deviated and horizontal boreholes has been developed. It consists of electromagnetic, gamma-ray and inclinometer modules. The technical features of the equipment, as well as its laboratory testing results and practical log data are considered in the paper. Along with that, we have developed the basic algorithms and software for the electromagnetic signals numerical simulation and inversion. Its testing demonstrates promising results when determining resistivity and boundaries location for the layers that are within the sondes sensitivity area. We provide an example of the inversion results for the signals measured in a three-meter water-oil saturated sand-shale reservoir penetrated by a horizontal wellbore. Source
