In this article, an encryption algorithm with an error detection technique is presented for highly secured reliable data transmission over unreliable communication channels. In this algorithm, an input data is mapped into orthogonal code first. After that the code is encrypted with the help of Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR). The technique has been successfully verified and synthesized using Xilinx by Spartan-3E FPGA. The results show that the error detection rate has been increased to 100% by proposed encryption scheme is effective and improves bandwidth efficiency. The method of self-organizing maps (SOM) is a method of exploratory data analysis used for clustering and projecting multi-dimensional data into a lower-dimensional space to reveal hidden structure of the data. The Self-Organizing Feature Maps (SOFMs)  is a class of neural networks capable of recognizing the main features of the data they are trained on. There is extensive literature on its biological and mathematical concepts and even more on its implementation in a variety of areas including medicine, finance, chaos and data mining in general [4,2]. The aim of this research is to implement a self-organizing neural network based technique for speech recognition. The Mean-SOM performance for the feature Intensity is obtained maximum as 98.17%. The Median-SOM performance for the feature Intensity is obtained maximum as 98.54%. © 2011 IEEE.

A systematic study on structural and magnetic properties of co-precipitated MnxNi1-xFe2O4 (x=0.5, 0.6, 0.7) ferrite nanoparticles annealed at 800 °C was carried out using XRD, FE-SEM, VSM and MÖSSBAUER techniques. Anti-ferromagnetic α-Fe2O3 phase was observed along with the magnetic spinel phase in the XRD patterns. It is observed that both lattice parameter and crystallite size of spinel phase increase with increase in concentration of Mn2+ along with the amount of α-Fe2O3 phase. The saturation magnetization (Ms) decreases while coercivity (Hc) increases with increase of Mn2+ ion concentration. Mössbauer spectra indicate that iron ions present in A and B sites are in the Fe3+ state and Fe2+ is absent. The results are interpreted in terms of observed anti-ferromagnetic α-Fe2O3 phase, core-shell interactions and cation redistribution. © 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

The target of the present study is to clarify ignition characteristics, combustion process and knock limit of methanol premixture in a dual fuel diesel engine, and also to improve the trade-off between NOx and smoke markedly without deteriorating the high engine performance. Experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance and emission characteristics of direct injection diesel engine operating in duel fuel mode using Pongamia methyl ester injection and methanol carburetion. Methanol is introduced into the engine at different throttle openings along with intake air stream by a carburetor which is arranged at bifurcated air inlet. Pongamia methyl ester fuel was supplied to the engine by conventional fuel injection. The experimental results show that exhaust gas temperatures are moderate and there is better reduction of NOx, HC, CO and CO2 at methanol mass flow rate of 16.2 mg/s. Smoke level was observed to be low and comparable. Improved thermal efficiency of the engine was observed. © School of Engineering, Taylor's University College.

A simple, sensitive and accurate RP-HPLC method for the simultaneous quantification of ambroxol, roxithromycin and serratiopeptidase in bulk and in combined tablet dosage form was developed and validated. Ambroxol, roxithromycin and serratiopeptidase were separated and estimated using Waters HPLC system and YMC Pack pro C18 (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 μm particle size) column. The mobile phase used was 0.1 % orthophosphoric acid and acetonitrile in the ratio of 60:40 (v/v). The calibration curves were linear over concentration range of 12-36, 60-180 and 6-18 μg/mL with limits of detection of 0.040, 1.176 and 0.127 μg/mL for ambroxol, roxithromycin and serratiopeptidase, respectively. For the studied drugs, recovery varied in range of 99.57 to 100.24 % with relative standard deviation ranging from 0.12 to 0.36 %. The proposed RP-HPLC method could be used for the analysis of ambroxol, roxithromycin and serratiopeptidase simultaneously in combined tablet dosage forms. © 2016, Chemical Publishing Co.
