To solve the problem of voltage data acquisition in mid-voltage power grid, the remote data acquisition system based on coupling capacitance is designed for distribution lines by using GPRS wireless communication and PIC single chip. Using lower cost capacitance to collect nodal voltage, involving phase voltage and zero sequence voltage. Filtering ways and signal conversion for the voltage signal of mid-voltage power grid are presented, and the acquisition program for the collector and the whole system block chart of work are designed. Design scheme has been used in power equipment monitoring and control and fault location. Data acquisition cost is reduced.
