The paper considers the statement of the problem of development of the tool for monitoring the quality of design solutions and optimization of the designed structures of objects of capital construction in the oil industry. The authors determined fundamental indicators for analysis of designed objects and checking of design solutions quality. There was suggested a method of step-by-step monitoring of the current design of oil field facilities and reference structures that have characteristic parameters tending to best industry specific ratios (CAPEX, OPEX, metal intensity, energy intensity and others).

Oil reserves of Volga-Ural oil province are sufficiently depleted at present time. Particularly, degree of initial oil reserves depletion of Samaraneftegaz JSC now exceeds 70%. In such conditions the process of Company resource base replenishment becomes very important. This process can be conducted as by purchasing of new license areas, so as by the search of so-called "missed" reservoirs and additional exploration program on developed fields. This article describes the discovery of oil-bearing reservoirs in carbonate reefs of Famennian stage on the territory of Samara region and also the prospective of analogous reservoirs discovery in the region. Additionally the main principles of search program are described and the main results of search for the oil fields of Samaraneftegaz JSC in the 1-st quarter of 2013 are provided.

Carbon-silica sorbent containing onion-like structures and simultaneously having sorption properties of both carbons and silicates was produced by carbonization of a mixture of silica sapropel and hydrolytic lignin at 20-700°C. The sorption characteristics of the sorbent with respect to radioactive nuclides (90Sr, 90Y, 137Cs, 232Th, 238U, 239Pu) and oil were determined. It was shown that the carbon-silica sorbent accelerates the biodegradation of oil in soil. © 2015 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

The essential prerequisite for effective and innovative activity of R and D institutes in oil industry is related not only with designing of new procedures, but also relates to their application in project design concepts. The paper considers the challenges in process designing of oil industry objects. The authors present the analysis of present day situation in complying with code and normative base that controls the use of subsurface resources as per the current requirements in oil production. Actualization and constant updating of this code and normative base is one of the aspects in innovative development of oil industry. This objective may be achieved through the national association of designers with active involving of specialized self-regulating institutions.

The results of studies of the effect of wettability of the pore space of carbonate reservoirs of the Samara oblast oil fields on the flood displacement efficiency are presented. Accumulated laboratory data for the determination of the flood displacement efficiency by B1 layers of the Samara oblast oll fields are summarized. It was shown that by the investigated samples the hydrophilic productive strata are characterized by higher (by 12% on average) flood displacement efficiencies.

Qualified personnel and hardware components at their disposal are the principal assets of a design organization. The main parts of the IT infrastructure necessary for efficient project activities are analyzed on the example of Samara- NIPIneft LLC. The design method based on tridimensional modeling appears to be promising and is being actively developed at SamaraNIPIneft LLC for designing infrastructure development facilities and fueling stations. Nowadays successful advance of a design organization is impossible without information technologies developing. Today, in choosing infrastructure development, it is necessary to employ only the most up-to-date solutions, which in a few years' time will become vital for efficient and high-quality performance.

Reduction of oil viscosity is of great importance for the petroleum industry since it contributes a lot to the facilitation of pipeline transportation of oil. This study analyzes the capability of acoustic waves to decrease the viscosity of oil during its commercial production. Three types of equipment were tested: an ultrasonic emitter that is located directly in the well and affects oil during its production and two types of acoustic machines to be located at the wellhead and perform acoustic treatment after oil extraction: a setup for ultrasonic hydrodynamic treatment and a flow-through ultrasonic reactor. In our case, the two acoustic machines were rebuilt and tested in the laboratory. The viscosity of oil was measured before and after both types of acoustic treatment; and 2, 24 and 48h after ultrasonic treatment and 1 and 4h after hydrodynamic treatment in order to estimate the constancy of viscosity reduction. The viscosity reduction achieved by acoustic waves was compared to the viscosity reduction achieved by acoustic waves jointly with solvents. It was shown, that regardless of the form of powerful acoustic impact, a long lasting decrease in viscosity can be obtained only if sonochemical treatment is used. Using sonochemical treatment based on ultrasonic hydrodynamic treatment a viscosity reduction by 72,46% was achieved. However, the reduction in viscosity by 16%, which was demonstrated using the ultrasonic downhole tool in the well without addition of chemicals, is high enough to facilitate the production of viscous hydrocarbons.

The paper illustrates the comprehensive approach towards the discovery of the "lost" deposits at presently operated fields which allows revealing the significant potential to increase the oil reserves. The practical efficiency of the considered approach ("Search") and the commissioning of the "lost" deposits into the process of active field development allows building-up the reserves and oil production at minimum capital investments. The results of this works are the annual basis for individual program of further well studies. The realization of the program to evaluate the resource base in 2010 - 2011 has enabled to discover 17 new pools at 15 deposits. The majority of new pools has been commissioned into active operation and has resulted to the increased total oil production.
