Braking device for a gliding board that includes: a base to be affixed to the gliding board; at least one braking arm pivotable about a first substantially transverse axis, the braking arm including a control element extending along an axis substantially parallel to the first axis; a movable support plate including a control element housing, the position of the control element in the guiding housing varying as a function of the angular position of the braking arm; an elastic mechanism acting on the control element along an actuation direction varying as a function of the angular position of the braking arm. The support plate is displaced by an amplitude covering a first positioning range for which the base, the braking arm, the support plate, and the elastic mechanism are arranged so that the elastic mechanism acts on the control element to cause rotation of the braking arm in a first direction, as well as a second positioning range for which the base, the braking arm, the support plate, and the elastic mechanism are arranged so that the elastic mechanism acts on the control element to cause rotation of the braking arm in a second direction, opposite the first direction of rotation.

Equipment that includes a shoe/footwear and a range of footwear elements, and a method of using such equipment, each of such elements being configured to enable a user to perform a type of physical activity that is different from the types of physical activity enabled by the other footwear elements in the range of footwear elements.

The invention relates to a footwear item (1) which includes a first shell (21), the first shell (21) extending lengthwise from a rear end (24) until a front end (25), widthwise between a side edge (26) and a median edge (27), and heightwise from a bottom (28) until an upper end (29), the first shell (21) defining a space for receiving a foot, the footwear item (1) including a second shell (31), the second shell (31) extending lengthwise from a rear end (34) until a front end (35), widthwise between a side edge (36) and a median edge (37), and heightwise from a bottom (38) until an upper end (39), the second shell defining a space for receiving a foot, the first shell (21) and the second shell (31) being arranged facing one another. At least at one sub-division, the footwear item (1) includes an intermediate part (71, 101, 121) which is resiliently and reversibly deformable, the intermediate part being arranged between the first shell (21) and the second shell (31).

Footwear item (1) comprising a first covering (21), the first covering (21) extending lengthwise from a rear end (24) to a front end (25), widthwise between a lateral edge (26) and a medial edge (27), and heightwise from a bottom (28) to a top end (29). The footwear item (1) comprises a functional component (71, 111, 121) arranged facing the first covering (21), and a means of positioning the functional component (71, 111, 121) with respect to the covering (21).

A sports boot having a rigid shell base designed to hold the foot of a user, the shell base including a sole and two lateral sides extending from the sole and defining an upper recess therebetween. The boot includes a mechanism for tightening the shell base around the foot of the user, the tightening mechanism including a filiform element for tightening the sides towards one another, the filiform element being tightened by pivoting a lever of the mechanism. The lever is provided to be pivoted in a notch of a rack designed to cover the two sides of the shell base in the tightened configuration and to bend the sides towards the sole under the pivoting action of the lever. The rack extends across the upper recess E2.

A footwear element includes a sole assembly extending along an extension direction between opposite front and rear ends; a flexible upper includes a lower portion adjoining the sole assembly and configured to receive a shoe of a user, and an upper portion extending from the lower portion away from the sole assembly; and a fastening element configured to cooperate with a locking mechanism provided on the apparatus for reversibly retaining the footwear element on the apparatus. The fastening element is removably mounted on the footwear element.

Patent

A shoe including an outer sole assembly and an upper. The shoe extends lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral side and a medial side, and height-wise from the outer sole assembly to an upper end. The shoe further includes a first shell and a reinforcing structure arranged opposite the first shell. The reinforcing structure includes holes on at least a portion of its surface.

A footwear element including a flexible outer sole assembly and a flexible upper, both of which demarcate a fitting volume, the footwear element extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral portion and a medial portion, and height-wise from an outer surface of the outer sole assembly to an upper end, the footwear element having a shoe insertion opening. The footwear element includes spikes projecting from the area of the outer surface of the outer sole assembly. The footwear element includes a removable reinforcement having the general appearance of a plate, the reinforcement extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral side and a medial side, and depth-wise between a support surface and a receiving surface, the reinforcement being arranged opposite the outer sole assembly, and the reinforcement being substantially non-deformable in longitudinal flexion, along a transverse axis.
