Our study implements a model that explains the relationship between the students learning process productivity taking into account individual differences and didactic learning content resources. The process of data collection and analytics focuses on the micro-level. Individual learning trajectory prediction is observed at the micro-level. Blended learning has several advantages. However, its integration in the educational process is a complex process. Implementation requires new technologies. Process monitoring is implemented in a software environment by means of intelligent agents. © 2016 IEEE.

Coherent reception of signals with digital modulation requires information about the channel state, in particular, about the magnitude decay and phase offset introduced by the channel. Actually, receiving side usually estimates channel state using special pilot elements incorporated into the signal structure. Transmission of these redundant pilot signals requires extra power and time-frequency resource, that reduces spectral and energy efficiency of the communication system, so the number of pilots should be minimized. The paper describes two views on the reception of short data packets transmitted using quadrature amplitude modulation. On the one hand, coherent reception with semi-blind channel estimation is considered, namely, signal level and phase offset estimation is performed by blind algorithms using all symbols of the packet, and pilot symbols are only used to resolve ambiguity inherent for blind estimates of phase offset. On the other hand, the whole packet can be treated as a signal from a signal set suitable for noncoherent reception. High-correlation approximation for bit error probability is evaluated and compared with results obtained for coherent reception with channel estimation. Computer simulation showed that even for moderately short QAM packets bit error probability for semi-blind channel estimation is close to achievable limits for noncoherent reception of the packet as a whole with a loss about 0.4 dB. © 2016 IEEE.

In this paper it is considered a discussion of the technique that realizes a brand new method of runway friction coefficient measurement based upon the proposed principle of measuring wheel braking control for the imitation of antilock braking modes that are close to the real braking modes of the aircraft chassis while landing that are realized by the aircraft anti-skid systems. Also here is the description of the model of towed measuring device that realizes a new technique of runway friction coefficient measuring, based upon the measuring wheel braking control principle. For increasing the repeatability accuracy of electromechanical braking imitation system the sideslip (brake) adaptive control system is proposed. Based upon the Burkhard model and additive random processes several mathematical models were created that describes the friction coefficient arrangement along the airstrip with different qualitative adjectives. Computer models of friction coefficient measuring were designed and first in the world the research of correlation between the friction coefficient measuring results and shape variations, intensity and cycle frequency of the measuring wheel antilock braking modes. The sketch engineering documentation was designed and prototype of the latest generation measuring device is ready to use. The measuring device was tested on the autonomous electromechanical examination laboratory treadmill bench. The experiments approved effectiveness of method of imitation the antilock braking modes for solving the problem of correlation of the runway friction coefficient measuring. © 2017 Author(s).

The paper describes the suboptimal algorithm for time-varying systems with unknown parameters and disturbances. The algorithm provides minimization of a performance index with a given accuracy. Proposed algorithm for control of the lateral motion of the aircraft in the landing mode is applied. Simulation results for an aircraft model under parametric uncertainty and external disturbances are illustrated small sensitivity to perturbations. © IFAC.

We present the characteristics of ultraviolet photodiodes based on Schottky barriers to the Aluminum Gallium Nitride (AlGaN) solid solution. The paper is devoted to the creation of ohmic and rectifying contacts to Al xGa1-xN solid solutions with a high (x > 0.5) proportion of AlN. The most important property of (AlxGa 1-xN) materials is their solar blindness: the wide bandgap (Eg 3.4 eV for GaN; 6.2 eV for AlN) makes these materials insensitive to the visual and IR light. The study of solid solutions with various mole fractions of Al has created solar-blind and see-blind ultraviolet photodetectors. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A new method of learning fast two-dimensional orthogonal transformations is considered. Tunable orthogonal transformations are regarded as special neural networks. The learning takes a finite number of steps. The learning algorithm does not have the error feedback and is absolutely stable. The method is based on fractal filtering of signals and images. Linguistic models are used to determine the topology and structure of fast transformations. Examples are given. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016.
