The paper describes the suboptimal algorithm for time-varying systems with unknown parameters and disturbances. The algorithm provides minimization of a performance index with a given accuracy. Proposed algorithm for control of the lateral motion of the aircraft in the landing mode is applied. Simulation results for an aircraft model under parametric uncertainty and external disturbances are illustrated small sensitivity to perturbations. © IFAC.

Geo-tagging and smart spaces are two promising directions in modern mobile market. Geo-tagging allows to markup any kind of data by geographical coordinates and time. This is the basis for defining geographical context which can be used in different types of applications e.g. semantic information search, machine-to-machine (M2M) interactions. Smart spaces as the basis for seamless distributed communication field for software services provides semantic level for data processing. Most desired feature of coming software is pro-activeness and context awareness, i.e. services will be able to adapt to the user's needs and situations and be able to manage decisions and behaviors on behalf of the user. The paper is dedicated discussion of integration most popular open platforms for smart spaces and geo-tagging (Smart-M3 and Geo2Tag) as possible solution for creation context aware proactive location based (LBS) services. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

A new method of learning fast two-dimensional orthogonal transformations is considered. Tunable orthogonal transformations are regarded as special neural networks. The learning takes a finite number of steps. The learning algorithm does not have the error feedback and is absolutely stable. The method is based on fractal filtering of signals and images. Linguistic models are used to determine the topology and structure of fast transformations. Examples are given. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016.

To combat non-linear signal distortions in a power amplifier we suggest using predistorter with cascade structure in which first and second nodes have piecewise-polynomial and polynomial models. On example of linearizing the Winner-Hammerstein amplifier model we demonstrate that cascade structure of predistorter improves precision of amplifier's linearization. To simplify predistorter's synthesis the degree of polynomial model used in first node should be moderate, while precision should be improved by higher degree of second node's polynomial. © K.H.
