Wool fiber has many good quality, but it is seriously easy to felt in the washing. In this research, TCEP was used to improve the performance of worsted wool fabrics. The tensile, felting and bending properties of the worsted fabrics before and after treated were tested. The results showed that the optimal treatment conditions were TCEP was 10% (owf), time 60 min, and temperature 60 °C. On this condition the felting shrinkage was less than 5% and strength loss was 3%. Simultaneously the recovery of the fabric after bended and handfeel were improved. The wearability of wool fiber was improved.

This paper chooses reductant TCEP(Tris (2-carboxyethyl) phosphine) as a reagent of damage the disulfide bond, and joint use of acid protease one-bath method to deal with wool. Using orthogonal design acid enzyme wool thining modification experiment, to determine the main influence factors and levels. The experimental results show that the main impact of strength and wool fineness is the dosage of TCEP and acid protease. The pH value and time have little effect to the strength and fineness. The best process is 2% (owf) of TCEP and 2% (owf) acid protease, and dealed with 90 min. The 66s domestic wool is treated by this process, the fineness failed by 1. 393 μm and the strength reserved 71.2%.

The paper mainly studied the dyeing properties of wool dyeing with rare earth cerium compound, the effect of content of cerium compound, dyeing temperature and dyeing time on dye uptake of wool were research by experiments, the optimal dyeing process was determined. The effect of cerium compound on low temperature dyeing properties was studied. The level and fastness of wool dyeing with rare earth cerium compound were measured and analyzed. The results showed that the dye uptake was increased with cerium compound in dye bath. Dye uptake can reach ideal level dyeing under 85 °C. Leveling property, soaping fastness and rubbing fastness can meet requirement.
