The WC reinforced steel composite was prepared by V-EPC. The effects of Ni6025WC adding on structure and properties of composite were studied by OM, SEM, XRD, micro-hardness and impact abrasive wear test. The simulated results show that the WC dissolution may cause pearlite, residual austenite, martensite and M 6C type carbides appeared in matrix. According to analysis, M 6C type carbides was Fe 3W 3C. Compared with other WC reinforced steel composite, micro-hardness reduced and wear rate rose. When WC dissolution and more Fe 3W 3C in matrix, composite has a poor resistance.
