Is it true that a research is a burden and stressful job? By identifying the strengths of a research and apply appropriate strategies allows responsibility to research undertaken by all those involved (easy research) and reduce the stress borne by the lead researcher. By using the wisdom of lead researcher to arrange the right strategies can produce the large output. This study will reveal the components that need to be applied in research to achieve an effective strategy. An effective teaching and learning method are an important aspect to realize the Strategic Plan for Higher Learning (PSPTN) where the qualities of undergraduate and post-graduate students are used as a parameter to measure the greatness of a university. Conventional learning techniques are no longer rational to be implemented for current students which are able to view and evaluate a subject in depth and critical. Teaching and learning techniques should also be changed according to the passage of time. This paper discusses a technique of discussions or 'musyawarah' to produce students who are proactive and discuss the critical things. Through this method, a group of students is given a topic and they discuss and each of them is free to throw his/her opinion. Lecturer serves as moderator for this activity.

Final year project evaluation is a subjective matter and not easy to implement. This is because the level of difficulty and depth of a project has become a major factor contributing dissatisfaction with the students. This paper proposes a simple method to evaluate the performance of final year project which the objective of the study as a component contributing to the marking. Performance is determined by the number of students achieved the objectives agreed upon by the expertise committee.
