Metaheuristic optimization algorithms have become popular choice for solving complex and intricate problems which are difficult to solve by traditional methods. Particle swarm optimization has shown an effective performance for solving variant benchmark and real-world optimization problems. However, it suffers from premature convergence because of quick losing of diversity. In order to enhance its performance, this paper proposes an improved particle swarm algorithm with dynamically changing velocity(DCV). Evolution speed and agglomeration degree coefficient are introduced into DCV to achieve a trade-off between exploration and exploitation abilities. The worst particles are recorded to make particles stay away from the best position in the evolution process. The velocity is updated according the position of the global best position, the worst position, particles previous best position, evolution speed and degree of agglomeration coefficient at each iteration. In order to verify the validity of the proposed algorithm in this paper, several typical functions are employed for testing, the results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper obtains a more promising performance than several other algorithms. © 2014 IEEE.

In signal-degraded environments such as dense urban area and indoor environment, GPS (Global Positioning System) signals are either blocked or strongly degraded by natural and artificial obstacles, which cannot meet the surging demands for position information, the combination of different GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) could be a suitable approach to fill this gap. This paper presents a hybrid positioning method combining GPS and GLONASS, simulation results show that Extended Kalman Filter Algorithm is an effective method to deal with data fusion in hybrid positioning system, so this system can improve the positioning accuracy in the environment without enough GPS satellites. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.

As network environment is becoming more and more complex, it is difficult for students to understand and master the complex and abstract network concepts. A virtual learning tool named Cisco Packet Tracer has been introduced into the classroom teaching, which provides the virtual configuration environment as real one. This article presents the features of the virtual simulation tool, and the configuration example for mini practice project, which can inspire students' creativity. Duo to the high cost of network entity equipment environment, network laboratory is not established completely in colleges and universities in china, students find that it is difficult to grasp the complex and abstract network concepts. Virtual learning tool software named Cisco Packet Tracer is free for students in anytime, which provides the same configuration environment as true network entity equipment. This paper presents the example of Dynamic Routing Protocol(RIP), and offers experimental design topology of RIP. This teaching mode not only reduces the dependence on the real environment, but also helps students to master the abstract network concepts and enhance theirs practical operation skills. Simple and sensitive electrochemical method for the determination of nitrite, based on a nano-alumina-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE), is described. Nitrite yields a well-defined oxidation peak whose potential is 0.74 V at the nano-alumina-coated GCE in 0.1 mol L -1 phosphate buffer (pH5.0). Compared with bare GCE, the nano-alumina-modified GCE has evident catalytic effect towards the oxidation of nitrite, and its peak current can be significantly enhanced. Some of the experimental parameters were optimized for the determination of nitrite. The oxidation peak current was proportional to nitrite concentration in the range of 5.0×10 -8-1. 1×10 -3mol L -1, and a detection limit of 1.0×10 -8mol L -1 was obtained. This method has been successfully used to the determination of nitrite in sausage sample. Furthermore, results obtained by the method have been compared with spectrophotometric method. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.

In order to obtain position and clock bias, at least four GPS (Global Positioning System) pseudo-range measurements are needed, which are based on least squares iteration algorithm, the accuracy is dependent on the number of iterations and the deviation between initial value and true value, and GPS satellite is partly blocked indoors and dense urban areas. Therefore, a simple novel method is developed to solve the navigation equations directly without linearization and iteration, which is combining GPS and GLONASS. The results show that novel method is effective for navigation precision, the method reduces the computational complexity significantly and is highly suitable for single point positioning. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.

Due to the problem of network structure, security, redundant path in traditional network, this can be solved by Virtual Local Area Network(VLAN) technology. As the network laboratory in colleges and universities is not perfect because of high cost, a virtual simulation tools named Packet Tracer has been introduced to computer network experimental curriculum, this paper put forwards the detail design scheme by the example of VLAN with three switches, and provides the experiment and theoretical analysis and simulation verification.The practice has proved this method not only deepens students comprehension of network, but also cultivates the students' actual comprehensive ability. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
