Simple and sensitive electrochemical method for the determination of nitrite, based on a nano-alumina-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE), is described. Nitrite yields a well-defined oxidation peak whose potential is 0.74 V at the nano-alumina-coated GCE in 0.1 mol L -1 phosphate buffer (pH5.0). Compared with bare GCE, the nano-alumina-modified GCE has evident catalytic effect towards the oxidation of nitrite, and its peak current can be significantly enhanced. Some of the experimental parameters were optimized for the determination of nitrite. The oxidation peak current was proportional to nitrite concentration in the range of 5.0×10 -8-1. 1×10 -3mol L -1, and a detection limit of 1.0×10 -8mol L -1 was obtained. This method has been successfully used to the determination of nitrite in sausage sample. Furthermore, results obtained by the method have been compared with spectrophotometric method. © 2009 Springer-Verlag. Source

In signal-degraded environments such as dense urban area and indoor environment, GPS (Global Positioning System) signals are either blocked or strongly degraded by natural and artificial obstacles, which cannot meet the surging demands for position information, the combination of different GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) could be a suitable approach to fill this gap. This paper presents a hybrid positioning method combining GPS and GLONASS, simulation results show that Extended Kalman Filter Algorithm is an effective method to deal with data fusion in hybrid positioning system, so this system can improve the positioning accuracy in the environment without enough GPS satellites. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland. Metaheuristic optimization algorithms have become popular choice for solving complex and intricate problems which are difficult to solve by traditional methods. Particle swarm optimization has shown an effective performance for solving variant benchmark and real-world optimization problems. However, it suffers from premature convergence because of quick losing of diversity. In order to enhance its performance, this paper proposes an improved particle swarm algorithm with dynamically changing velocity(DCV). Evolution speed and agglomeration degree coefficient are introduced into DCV to achieve a trade-off between exploration and exploitation abilities. The worst particles are recorded to make particles stay away from the best position in the evolution process. The velocity is updated according the position of the global best position, the worst position, particles previous best position, evolution speed and degree of agglomeration coefficient at each iteration. In order to verify the validity of the proposed algorithm in this paper, several typical functions are employed for testing, the results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper obtains a more promising performance than several other algorithms. © 2014 IEEE. Computer network is one of the compulsory course for computer professional students, but students are boring for abstract network concepts, in order to improve the innovation of students, a virtual simulation tools named Packet Tracer is introduced into the classroom teaching, which can provide network simulation environment as real life with enough network equipment. Due to the problem of network structure, security, redundant path in traditional network, this can be solved by Virtual Local Area Network(VLAN) technology. As the network laboratory in colleges and universities is not perfect because of high cost, a virtual simulation tools named Packet Tracer has been introduced to computer network experimental curriculum, this paper put forwards the detail design scheme by the example of VLAN with three switches, and provides the experiment and theoretical analysis and simulation verification.The practice has proved this method not only deepens students comprehension of network, but also cultivates the students' actual comprehensive ability. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
