This paper has introduced electromechanical coupling characteristics to the lower extremity exoskeleton systems. When the load torque compensation model has been established, A model of knee position control system has also been established, which is made of the servo valve, hydraulic cylinders and other hydraulic components. Hydraulic cylinder position control loop has been designed in case of existing load force interference compensation. From that have ensured the system to meet a certain stability margin. The simulation shows that this position control method can servo on the knee angular displacement of normal human walking, at the same time, met the needs of human-machine coordinated motion. On basis of 30kg walk test of prototype of system, analyzing hydraulic cylinder bearing demand under different load conditions. The test shows that the lower limb exoskeleton portable power system using a hydraulic valve position control can meet the load 30kg low level walking requirements. © 2012 Springer-Verlag. Source

A novel model is proposed to formulate the mobility of multiple vehicles with inter-communications moving together as a swarm. This model is inspired by the aggregate motion of social force, and is used to describe the self-organised behaviour of the vehicle swarm in vehicular ad hoc networks. To validate and analyse the proposed model, some simulations are performed in different traffic scenarios, such as the low traffic density with high mobility and the high traffic density with low mobility. Two comparative simulation cases are also provided to explore the effect of vehicular communications on the mobility of multiple vehicles. The simulation results prove that the model can well formulate the cooperative behaviours of multiple vehicles with vehicle-to-vehicle communications in inter-vehicle collision avoidance and obstacle-avoidance scenarios, and these results also strengthen that the inter-vehicular communications can enhance the vehicle safety and traffic efficiency. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2015. Fomitopsis pinicola (F. pinicola) is a kind of medicinal fungi, and few studies has been carried out on F. pinicola polysaccharides from liquid submerged cultivation. The characterization and antioxidant activities of extracellular polysaccharide (EPS) and intracellular polysaccharide (IPS) isolated from F. pinicola were investigated. The results showed that the molecular weight of EPS was 2.30 × 104 Da, and EPS was composed of mannose, rhamnose, xylose and galactose with the molar ratio of 0.1:1.0:0.3:0.5. The molecular weight of IPS was 4.07 × 105 Da, and the monosaccharide compositions included glucose, mannose, rhamnose, xylose and galactose with the molar ratio of 1.0:0.9:0.9:0.8:1.1. Antioxidant activities of both EPS and IPS including in vitro scavenging activities on 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and hydroxyl radicals, cellular protective effects on yeast cells from ultraviolet (UV) radiation and H2O2 oxidative damage were tested. Both EPS and IPS showed antioxidant activities in a dose dependent manner, and IPS had higher antioxidant activity than EPS. In order to quickly detect the harmful substances in food, a multiple channel portable food safety detector which can be used in the field test is designed. The detector uses the newly national standards and methods, and the combination of Windows CE Operate System and colorful LED touch screen was adopted in this design, changing the operate tool from mouse to fingers, making the operation much more simple and convenient. The result of experiment shows that the system has the advantage such as easy operating, portable, high performance and high reliability. And it can detect Pesticides residue more quickly and accurately, and the measurement error are between ±2% and ±4%, which meets the national standards and its design require. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. With firstly analyzing the working principle of wearable exoskeleton robot, and building a mathematical model ,this paper applies the method of Particle Swarm Optimization with MATLAB software to develop a set of optimization design system for three-hinge mechanism of knee, which substitutes artificial design system. Furthermore, this paper puts forward the optimization design method based on Particle Swarm Optimization for the three-hinge mechanism design of multi-objective and multi-constraint conditions, which can be effectively solved through simulation practice.
