Two-dimensional dynamic model of soil-structure interaction of shear wall structures in time domain is established with ANSYS. The influence of different soils and stories of upper structures on equivalent seismic motion input is considered separately. According to calculations, the above-mentioned factors have little effect on the horizontal displacement time-histories of the equivalent input, but have great influence on the rotation of foundation. Especially, piles have great effect on the rotation angle displacement of foundation. Therefore, the analysis of equivalent input of soil-structure interaction should be focused on research of foundation rotation.

Using a elastic half-space model, the effects of source parameters on spatial variation of stochastic ground motions are studied in this paper by the explicit finite element method and kinematic source model. The results show that the fault depth, the rupture velocity, the size of sub-source and the fault direction have influence on coherency function, especially for the fault depth and the fault direction. At last, a coherency model for base-rock site by statistic method is proposed.

Coastal cities of Fujian Province were influenced by Taw an earthquakes for bng-temi Although little damage-was coused, but shaking was felt and had longer duration specially for high-rise buildings In this paper, 252 broad-band horizontal acceleration records have been adopted from 35 Taiwan earthquakes in recent years (Magnitude M s= 4 0 ∼ 6 8 epicentral distanceR = 214∼ 650 km, focal depth d = 214 ~ 650 km). Horizontal ground motion attenuation relation for far-field in Fujian region has been established from the acceleration records by regressive methods Based on the results, the earthquake ground motions from Taw an earthquakes are less than tie seismic fortification criteria, but we can use them as a reference for local government as the Taiwan earthquakes judgments and decision-making.
