The ESD emergency shutdown system can receive within 3-5 s after the first induction signal by the upstream pressure, from the source to avoid borehole flows on the premise of no control release the possibility to the ground, reduce the damage to persons and property, less the possibility of fire, explosion and pollution of the environment. From the ESD system principle, composition and function of each part of the ESD system are introduced related parameters setting, installation and placement. Actual application shows that the role of ESD system in production run more and more obvious, it is in order to ensure the safety of personnel engaged in the construction and equipment has played a very positive and effective role. © 2016, Well Testing. Drilling geological design is very important in gas and oil development. The purpose of this research is to improve geological analysis and design methods which were mostly based on manual work before with low efficiency and accuracy. On the basis of spatial database and graphical analysis, a new visualized method for drilling geological design is proposed, which has been applied in Daqing oilfield. © 2012 IEEE.

By introduction of the wire completion operations in Iran Astec oilfield, the purpose of optimization of construction design is achieved, which shortens the operating cycle, reduces the construction cost, and obtains accurate well performance data and reservoir static data of the early produced wells. The paper introduces the successful application of the Wire completion technology in Astec block of the early production wells, and describes the standardization construction process of the wire completion operations, and on special well conditions of wax and producing asphalt seriously, process improvement has been done to conduct the wire completion operations smoothly.

High temperature/pressure autoclave was used to simulate the high containing H2S/CO2 corrosion environment, the influences of Cl- on corrosion rate, sulfide stress cracking and hydrogen induced cracking of sulfideresistant casing stell PllOSS were studied. The results show that the corrosion rate of PllOSS increased in the first and then decreased with the increase of Cl- concentration, the corrosion rate reached the maximum when the Cl- concentration was 50 000 mg/L; PllOSS did not ethibit cracks of sulfide stress cracking and hydrogen induced cracking, the sulfide stress cracking and hydrogen induced cracking sensitivities of PllOSS were low. The reasons were the existance of homogenious tiny tempered sorbite microstructure of PllOSS, addition of beneficial elements Cr, Mo, Ti, Nb and V and low content of harmful elements of S and P.

The layered recovery technology has been applied to the heterogeneous multi-layer standstone oilfields for many years. However, as these standstone oilfields have been entering into the ultra-high water cut period, the conventional layered water injection technology has too long test and adjustment period and heavy workload and cannot determine the reservoir condition. To solve this problem, this paper proposes and develops an intelligent multi-layer water injection technology suitable for the ultra-high water cut period based on the synchronous dynamic test and adjustment idea. The whole flow adjustment process has no any intervention and the synchronous dynamic flow adjustment of each layer finishes by the digital clock calibration thereby avoiding interlayer interference. This technology also can obtain data by the redisplay of computer. The experimental results show that this technology not only improves water injection effect and reduces the field workload, but also provides the basis of data analysis for implementation and adjustment of meticulous oil development plan. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The effects ol sulfur on corrosion behavior inciuding electrochemicai corrosion and sulfide stress cracking ol P110SS steel in oilfield environment with H2S/CO2 were investigated using an antoclowe as simulation device. The corrosion rate and corrosion severity of P110SS steel increased significantly owing to the solution containing elemental sulfur. Though sulfide stress cracking did not occur on P110SS stetl samples, electrochemical corrosion seriously occurred and many patt of samples lost due to elemental sulfur.

The sulfide stress cracking (SSC) sensitivity of sulfide resistant casing steel P110SS in hyperbaric H2S/ CO2 environments was studied by slow strain rate test (SSRT) method using a high temperature/pressure autoclave with simulated operating environments of Puyang Gas Field. The results show that compared with the blank condition, the mechanical property damage and plastic damage of P110SS were more serious in corrosion environments. With the increase of temperature, H2S/CO2 partial pressure rose gradually, the mechanical performance damage and plastic damage of P110SS weakened, SSC sensitivity of P110SS reduced. Temperature played a leading role. SSC sensitivity from high to low order: well head condition, well middle condition, well bottom condition. The mouth of well condition is the key guard against SSC.

RDS valve is a voltage-controlled security testing tools recirculation valve, a shut-in shoulder loop and important mission. But RDS valve by its own structural performance limitations in maintenance tools, equipment, tools, connectivity tools, field operations, equipment, and other interested parties with regard many problems. RDS instances of valve failure on a detailed analysis of the corresponding solution proposed to play a greater role in the production.
