The purpose of this paper is to compute two unified fractional integrals involving the product of two H-functions, a general class of polynomials and Appell function (Formula presented.). These integrals are further applied in proving two theorems on Saigo–Maeda fractional integral operators. A series of mononuclear oxomolybdenum(IV) O,O'-ditolyldithiophosphate complexes, of the type MoO[S2P(OR)2]2 (R D o-,m-,p-C6H4Me), were synthesized by refluxing of the reaction mixture containing triphenylphosphine and binuclear oxomolybdenum(V)O, O'-ditolyldithiophosphate, Mo2O3[S2P(OR)2]4 (R D o-,m-,p-C6H4Me), in equimolar ratio in dichloromethane. The desired pink colored Mo(IV) complexes were separated out by dissolving in cold n-hexane. The equimolar adducts of mononuclear oxomolybdenum(IV) O,O'-ditolyldithiophosphates with heterocyclic amines, MoO[S2P(OR)2]2.L (R D o-,m-,p-C6H4Me; L D 2,2'-bipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthroline), have been prepared by reacting the corresponding oxomolybdenum(IV) complexes with an excess of 2,2'-bipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthroline in a 1,1 molar ratio. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H. and 31P NMR spectroscopy. Based on these, a square pyramidal structure incorporating bidentate dithiophosphate moieties is suggested and a six-coordinated distorted octahedral structure for the entire base adducts complexes. It appears that oxomolybdenum(IV) is preferentially stabilized by sulfur donors. Copyright © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

The object of the present article is to study and develop the generalized fractional calculus operators introduced by Saigo and Maeda [9] for Aleph-function. The considered generalized fractional calculus operators contain the Appell hypergeometric function F3 as a kernel. We establish four results on applying the Saigo-Maeda operators to the product of two-variable Aleph-function, concluding a two-variable א-function. Also, being א-function a generalization of H, I function and easy parameter specification transforms the Saigo-Maeda fractional integral into Riemann-Liouville and Erdélyi-Kober fractional integrals, a set of specific cases and corollaries follow. The results obtained form the key formulae for the results on various potentially useful special functions of physical and biological sciences and technology available in the literature. The results obtained provide extension of the results given by Gupta et al. [2], Ram and Kumar [6].

Synthesis of cis-dichloro/dibromodioxidobis(2-amino-6-substitutedbenzothiazole) molybdenum(VI) complexes have been carried out by the reaction of ether extract of MoO2X2 (where X = Cl, Br) with ethanolic solution of 2-NH2-6-Rbenzothiazole (where R = NO2, CH3, OCH3, OC2H5) in 1:2 molar ratio. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by their elemental analysis and spectral studies such as IR, 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopy shows monodentate nature of benzothiazole ligands. Distorted octahedral geometry around the central molybdenum atom in these cis-dichloro/dibromodioxidobis(2-amino-6-substitutedbenzothiazole) molybdenum(VI) complexes has been observed. The synthesized complexes were also screened for their antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer and antitumor activities using standard methods.

We present the changes in morphology of supported gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) in Au/In2O3/Si structures by atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies. In2O3 thin films were deposited over Si by direct current magnetron sputtering. This was followed by deposition of Au thin films by thermal evaporation to complete the structure Au/In 2O3/Si. Au/In2O3/Si films were annealed in oxygen ambience at different temperatures to form supported AuNPs. The AFM measurements were done on Au/In2O3/Si formed with initial mass thicknesses of Au as 3, 6, 9 and 12 nm, and annealed at 673 and 873 K. The results showed that the average heights of AuNPs formed vary linearly with initial mass thickness of Au for annealing temperature 673 K whereas appreciable deviation from the linear trend was observed for the films annealed at 873 K. © 2013 AIP Publishing LLC.
