The quantum cryptography communication became a new communication technology, with the developed of quantum computing. Quantum cryptography used some specific properties of quantum physics, and it solved some difficult problems of classical cryptography. It is a reliable technology for ensure the security of network communication that in future ages of optical communication. Based on the quantum key distributions protocol, and in recent years the United States, Germany, Sweden, Japan, and other western developed countries in the progress in research of quantum cryptography communication from the research results, the quantum cryptography communication has entered the practical stage in developed countries; our country also should be more in-depth and extensive research in this aspect; the assay analyzed the application perspective of the quantum cryptography communication in military communication. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2015.

A new kernel discriminant analysis algorithm, called kernel-based enhanced maximum margin criterion (KEMMC), is presented for extracting features from high-dimensional data space. In EMMC, the local property is taken into account so that the data points of neighboring classes can be mapped far away. Moreover, the regularized technique is employed to deal with small sample size problem. It is extended to a nonlinear form by mapping the input space to a high-dimensional feature space that can make the mapped features linearly separable. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2014 Springer-Verlag.

The miR-34 family members, described as potential tumor suppressors, were downregulated in colorectal cancer (CRC). Loss of miR-34 impairs TP53-mediated cell death, while overexpression of miR-34 induces apoptosis. A potentially functional polymorphism (i.e., rs4938723T/C) in the promoter region of pri-miR-34b/c was predicted to influence the GATA-X binding sites. We aimed to investigate the association between miR-34b/c rs4938723 and TP53 Arg72Pro polymorphisms and the risk of CRC. We genotyped the two polymorphisms in 347 CRC patients and 488 healthy controls using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism and DNA sequencing assay. We found that the CC genotype and C allele of the miR-34b/c rs4938723 were associated with a significantly decreased risk of CRC compared with the TT genotype and T allele (CC vs. TT: adjusted OR=0.56; 95% CI, 0.34-0.91; C vs. T: adjusted OR=0.78; 95% CI, 0.64-0.97). In combined analysis, a borderline significance was also observed in subjects carrying the rs4938723 CT/CC and TP53 GG genotypes (adjusted OR=0.66; 95% CI, 0.43-0.99). These findings indicate that the rs4938723 in the promoter region of pri-miR-34b/c was a protective factor for the development of CRC. As the significance is marginal, further replication studies are warranted to confirm these results. © 2013 by Walter de Gruyter Berlin Boston 2013.

A new method incorporating biased clipping orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is presented, which mitigates fiber nonlinear effects in a long-haul coherent optical OFDM (CO-OFDM) system. Under the scheme of the method, the wanted signal carried by odd subcarriers is orthogonal to clipping noise and a Mach-Zehnder modulator (MZM) performs the optimal OFDM signal up-converter from the radio frequency (RF) domain to the optical domain. Analysis and simulation results show that fiber non-linear effects can be effectively mitigated by reducing the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in biased clipping CO-OFDM system. The nonlinearity threshold (NLT) is improved by 5 dB with a reach of 240 km. With a fiber length up to 800 km, system Q value is improved by approximately 2.3, 1.2, and 0.6 dB at a chromatic dispersion of 6, 12, and 16 ps/(nm·km), respectively. Additionally, system Q reaches the maximum when direct currect (DC) bias is equal to the mean value of the OFDM waveform. © 2012 Chinese Optics Letters.

Optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (O-OFDM) has been demonstrated to combat fiber chromatic dispersion (CD) and polarization-mode dispersion (PMD), which is being considered as a promising technology for future long-haul optical transmission. Because of computation efficiency and lower cost, the direct detection optical OFDM (DDO-OFDM) system is one of its schemes. However, the amplified-spontaneous noise induced by direct-detection seriously affects the system performance. The impact of noise introduced by amplified-spontaneous emission (ASE) is investigated and the signal-to-noise expression is got. Additionally, a carrier suppression scheme is presented. With such a scheme, the numerical simulation is done to validate the feasibility of the system. Analysis and simulation results show that the system performance is impacted by the bandwidth of band-pass filter and the optimal carrier suppression index is 0 dB for DDO-OFDM system.

Electromagnetic environment simulation is an important part of the developing and performance testing for communication and communication countermeasure equipments. Hardware in the loop simulation provides true wireless signal. It improves simulation credibility, thus becoming an effective method for the electromagnetic environment simulation. This paper analyzes the hardware and software constitution of the software definable signal generator. To use the signal generator to build hardware in the loop, electromagnetic simulation system was discussed. The system can be used to produce narrowband communication signals. The paper provides a reference for communication electromagnetic environment simulation. © 2014 Springer-Verlag.

This paper aims to study the effect of exhaustive swimming on the kidney urinary concentration function. After 6 weeks of exhaustive swim training, plasma osmolality (Posm), urinary osmolality (Uosm), serum Na+, K+ concentration, the expression of kidney aquaporin 2 (AQP 2), and its mRNA are all observed. The results show that 6 weeks of exhaustive swim training will be harmful to the kidney urinary concentration and can deduce the body dehydration. The decrease in the expression of AQP 2mRNA significantly plays an important role in the change in the kidney urinary concentration function. The decrease in renal reabsorption of water maybe the main cause of fatigue resulted from the extreme load. © 2014 Springer-Verlag.

The second-order, polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) effect for coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) system in long-haul transmission with single-mode fiber was analyzed in detail. The closed-form expression is presented for the time impulse response of an OFDM signal affected by second-order PMD. Analysis and simulation results show that, compared with polarization-dependent chromatic dispersion (PCD), CO-OFDM system performance is mainly influenced by depolarization rate (DR) which can moderate phase noise induced by chromatic dispersion. For a fiber link of 800 km and DR of 30 ps, the system Q value is improved by about 1.3 dB over the case of no DR. © 2014 Taylor & Francis.

Hardware-in-the-loop communication equipment simulation is an important step of the development about communications and electromagnetic environment simulation. Reference to the "software radio" design thinking the source library is generated by the software and different communication signals are generated by the fixed hardware frame. The system achieves "versatility". GMSK in wireless communications has been widely applied. It is one of the important signals generated by the simulator. Based on analysis of the structure the paper introduces the design of the simulator. It also provides the software simulation of Matlab.
