Water environment early warning and management are crucial to water resources protection for a river basin, and to improve their digitalization and efficiency, at present it is urgent to construct a support system to them by adopting latest information technology. In this study, a Huai River water environment early warning and management system was developed on the basis of a water environment early warning model according to the J2EE standards. This system integrates an ArcGIS server as its GIS platform and Google Maps API and works in a geospatial environment that couples local vector data and internet satellite images. It adopts a tool of rich internet application and development, Adobe FLEX that can balance the system loads better and also beautify the client pages. This new system provides a technical support to the digital information management and early warning of the Huai River basin water environments. © right.

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system has the advantage of flexible, rapid response. It is suitable for natural disaster monitoring and assessment. This paper introduced the composition of UAV remote sensing system, the emergency process and data process flow in Yingjiang, Yunnan earthquake disaster. Then, the UAV remote sensing image and pre-disaster high resolution satellite image were compared, housing damage, disaster relief tents, roads damage and traffic jam were monitored and assessed. It turned out that results are good. However, the data processing efficiency and the acquisition capability of three dimension information for UAV remote sensing system need to be further improved.

In the resent years, the house price was rising rapidly in the whole country and became the concern of the public and the hot issue of the society. The house price was rising rapidly to bring huge living pressure on the public to be the significant problem about people's livelihood. So what were the real factors resulting in the rapidly rising house price was analyzed based on the house price develop tendency of Zhengzhou and the corresponding solution was put forward in this paper. © The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

In order to compare fusion effects, evaluate fusion algorithms and optimize fusion process, three quantitative evaluation indexes were presented on the basis of analyzing quality evaluation methods of remote sensing image fusion: imagery brightness index, spatial information index, and spectral information index. Finally, optical remote sensing imagery fusion was taken for example. The applicability and effectiveness of four pixels level fusion algorithms were verified by means of simulation experiment. IHS transformation distorted the spectral characteristics of imagery, so the feature spectra was easily to become vestigial; Wavelet transformation had superiority on maintaining spectral characteristics, but the result easily became block and blurred; PCA transformation maintained most detail texture and architectural feature of source imagery, but it couldn't maintain detail spectral information. The research shows that, these three indexes can be taken as the evaluation criterion of remote sensing image fusion, they can also be used as good reference for many applications.

Modern urban buildings have complex model structure, and the building boundary extraction from airborne LiDAR data is still a relatively difficult problem. This paper proposes a dual-threshold Alpha Shapes algorithm and contour simplification algorithm based on least squares to extract the initial building contour. Dual-threshold Alpha Shapes algorithm consists of four steps: (1) dual-threshold a-shape acquisition, (2) based on a simple ring breadth-first search query algorithm, (3) the corresponding path screening, (4) deriving a closed contour (4) a closed contour, (5) Least Squares contour simplification. Experiments are conducted to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method on two datasets. © 2015 IEEE.

A new dynamic form component applicable to be integrated with GIS (Geographic information system) was developed to meet the needs of the geographic information industry and the demands of GIS customers. The general framework of the dynamic form component and adopted key technologies such as dynamic compilation and reflection are studied. Practical applications in GIS projects show that the dynamic form component can effectively improve the development speed and quality of GIS applications, and can provide appropriate user interactive abilities. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
