One of the main aims of molecular biology is to understand regulatory relationships between the cellular components. Most of the methods developed to extract gene regulatory relationship from time-delayed gene expression data are not sensitive to non-linearity and non-monotonicity of the cellular system. Here we present four various time-lagged correlation methods including Pearson, Spearman, Kendall and distance correlation and an information theoretic measure (Mutual Information). We propose a method to limit potential regulators while introducing a new dynamic threshold. The SOS DNA Repair of E. coli dataset is used for simulation. The methods are implemented in R Programming language, and the results show the performance of the proposed method to reveal the structure of gene regulatory network. © 2016 IEEE.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a commercial biofungicide such as Trichomix-HV in controlling damping-off disease in cucumber seedlings of greenhouses. In this regard, 504 fungal isolates were collected from greenhouses at 31 districts in city of Jiroft in Iran. Pythium aphanidermatum, P.ultimum, P. irregulare, Phytophthora drechsleri, and Ph. melonis accounted for 9.9 %, 8.3 %, 4.5 %, 4.9 %, and 21 % of total isolates collected, respectively. Isolates of P. aphanidermatum obtained from commercial cucumber in greenhouses were tested in vitro and under greenhouse conditions for sensitivity to chemical and biological treatments. To this aim, Trichomix-HV a commercial formulation of Trichoderma harzianum strain T969 and the fungicides Metalaxyl and Metalaxyl MZ were amended into the culture medium as well as into sterilized or non-sterilized greenhouse soils inoculated by the pathogen and containing plants at the seedling stage. Trichomix-HV significantly (P < 0.001) reduced seedling infection at a rate of 82 % when applied into soil medium at a concentration of 10 7 conidia ml/L and reduced vegetative growth of Pythium aphanidermatum in vitro. The result from this study shows that Trichomix-HV can be effectively used as a biocontrol agent for controlling damping-off cucumber seedlings and having the potential to replace chemical fungicides as a mean of disease control. © IRSEN, CEERS, IAU.

The vanadium phosphorous oxide (VPO) catalysts, supported on mesoporous hexagonal molecular sieves (HMS) with different vanadiumloadings, were prepared by precipitation method on organic phase. Techniques such as XRD, BET and SEM, were used for characterization of the catalyst. The bulk VPO catalyst contains vanadyl pyrophosphate phase ((VO)2P2O7), and a small amount of VOPO4. The high surface area, large pore volume and pore size of HMS in VPO/HMS samples, provide an excellent dispersion of same phase of VPO compound on the support surface. Oxidation of various alcohols was studied in the liquid phase over VPO/HMS catalyst, using tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as an oxidant. The activity of VPO/HMS samples were considerably increased with respect to bulk VPO catalyst. At 90 °C, the obtained activities were 0.567 and 6.545 gpro·g-1 VPO·h-1 over the bulk VPO and 20 wt% VPO/HMS catalysts, respectively. The effects of substrates, reaction time, reaction temperature, solvents, catalyst recycling and leaching of VPO in liquid phase reaction were also investigated. The following order has been observed for the percentage of conversions of alcohols: Benzylic alcohol > Secondary alcohol ∼ Primary alcohol. The kinetic of benzyl alcohol oxidation using excess TBHP over VPO/HMS catalyst was investigated at temperatures of 27, 60 and 90 °C, and followed a pseudo-first order with respect to benzyl alcohol.

Environmental monitoring and indoor radon measurement are important for public health, to estimate the cancer risk of respiratory system and, if necessary, to suggest proper methods that reduce indoor radon level. In this research, indoor radon concentration in the air has been measured in 150 apartments in Mashhad city. The result demonstrates about 94.7% of apartments have radon concentration less than 100 Bq/m 3, taken by WHO as the action level, and 5.3% have the concentration higher than this level. As well as, annual radon dose has been assessed using the equation for annual effective dose calculation introduced by United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.

Background:The relationship between skills & access to using ICT & the amount of its productivity among employees & managers if sport boards of Isfahan Materials and Methods: It is used Smirnov test for determining the natural of it & it is used Lovin test for surveying the variance congruity & it is used descriptive statistics; frequency, percentage, mean & standard deviation & it is used deductive statistics such as; Pearson correlation coefficient & used SPSS19 software for analyzing data (the meaningful level is considered as P≤0.05). Results: There is relationship between the level of skills in using ICT & the level productivity in employees & managers of sport boards of Isfahan and There is not relationship between available facilities in using ICT & level of productivity among employees & managers of sport board of Isfahan. Conclusion: finding Showed if there wasn't the sufficient facilities in using ICT, productivity will be decreased & also, if there is not facilities maybe caused to increasing costs & times & then the productivity will be decreased. In other hand, not existing facilities such as; Internet caused to delay in the range of rivals & then faint in information systems in organization & caused to its productivity decrease lack of facilities due to decreasing skill & following that the favorable & interests will be decreased. © 2013 AENSI Publisher All rights reserved.

Modern communication equipment and technology is considered as the infrastructure of life and its activities. So, the visual world is forming and developing. Here, the role of companies and organizations which provide communication services has become more significant. As a result, the companies involved in communication technologies have to have a specific look at the communication needs and demands of people. The present research aims at recognizing the effective factors on selecting the ADSL services provided by the telecommunication company in 2014. The population of the research incudes all the people who referred to the telecommunication company for purchasing high speed internet services and participants of the study are 286 of them. In order to collect the field data, the researcher developed a questionnaire applying the tests such as Friedman ranking test, regression and factor analysis tests to be analyzed. The results of the study indicated that the hypotheses related to archetype, geographical area, customer orientation, cost, performance, variability and supporting were confirmed. The hypotheses related to brand fame; advertisement, technical infrastructure monopoly, testing and the number and points of selling were rejected. It means that, the confirmed components had significant effect on selecting the ADSL service provider. © 2014 AENSI Publisher All rights reserved.

In recent years most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have come across one of the important problems. That is, how to manage automatic adjustment of the bandwidth in the field of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).One solution, is a model called Autonomic Service Architecture (ASA), which can manage the bandwidth allocation for individual customers. Nevertheless, this model has two main drawbacks. One of which is an increase in the ISPs' revenue and the other is the lack of mechanism to put burden to a non-efficient resource allocation in order to avoid the violation of terms and conditions for a negotiated Service Level Agreements' (SLAs).Since customers intends to keep a good class of Quality of Service (QOS) for themselves, by allocating or exaggerating a high bandwidth in different stage of SLA contract session, the existing network resources could easily be wasted. In order to bypass such limitations, a model for bandwidth management is presented. The results indicated that this model is an efficient procedure for utilizing resources of network and can increase the ISPs' profit and rates of customers' satisfaction. © 2015 IEEE.

Ab initio molecular orbital and DFT calculations have been carried out for tautomerization, 2 imino tautomers and 1 zwitter ionic to amino (most stable species of the nitrosamine isomers) in reaction of HNNOHH2O 2 in order to elucidate the structures and energetics. The structures and transition states were optimized using B3LYP and MP2 methods with 6-311++G(2d,2p), AUG-cc-pVDZ basis sets. The transition states of the three transformation reactions found in the study possess 3 protontransfer processes. Energetics and thermodynamic properties of all tautomerization of nitrosamine in reaction of the nitrosamine isomers - H2O2 have been obtained.

The H-bonded complexes formed from interaction between NH2NO (NA) and H2O2 (HP) have been investigated by using B3LYP and MP2 methods with a wide range of basis sets. We found six H-bonded complexes in which three of them have cyclic structure. Calculations carried out at various levels show that the sevenmembered cyclic structure with O HO and O HN hydrogen bonding interactions is the most stable complex. The large binding energy obtained for A1 complex probably results from a more linear arrangement of the O H - N and O - H OH-bonds in the seven-membered structure A1. The natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis and the Bader's quantum theory of atoms in molecules have been used to elucidate the interaction characteristics of the NA-HP complexes. The NBO results reveal that the charge transfer energy corresponds to the H-bond interactions for A1 complex is grater than other complexes. The electrostatic nature of H-bond interactions is predicted from QTAIM analysis. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Production of superabsorbent polymer hydrogels with minimized residual monomer content is an essential prerequisite particularly in their related hygienic, pharmaceutical, and food packaging products. Effect of two thermodissociating initiators and an innovative two-step initiation approach on the residual monomer content of acrylic acid-based SAP was preliminarily investigated. Ammonium persulfate (APS) and 4,4a′-azobis(4-cyanopentanoic acid) (ACPA) were used as water-soluble initiators for the aqueous solution polymerization. FTIR spectroscopy was used for the structural characterization. It was found that APS was more effective than ACPA, and residual monomer was determined in the range of 2200-3000 and 8900-16,600 ppm for APS- and ACPA-initiated polymerization products, respectively. Residual monomer resulted from APS/tetramethyl ethylenediamine (TMEDA) initiation system was measured to be about 4500 ± 117 ppm for one step initiation. However, a two-step initiation strategy using the APS-TMEDA was exposed to be a very effective method to decrease residual monomer to 212 ± 6 ppm. The variation of the hydrogel properties (i.e., gel content, swelling capacity, and the residual monomer content) versus the initiator system and concentration was discussed based on the basic literature and supported by some rheological evidences obtained from rheoanalysis of water-swollen samples. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
