(NYSE: EGL) has been awarded a prime position on the $240 million Professional Engineering Services indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ vehicle covers statutory and regulatory policy, guidance, specialty engineering and human capital functions. In addition to securing a spot on the Professional Engineering Services IDIQ, Engility was awarded a $42 million task order to help the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) / Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Systems Engineering (DASD(SE)) develop, update and disseminate the policy and guidance used for DoD-wide systems engineering acquisition. The team will also conduct strategic studies in areas such as cyber security, software assurance and trusted and assured microelectronics. “The cyber components of this win continue to position Engility as a leader in this critical capability.
