A first bonding target member and a second bonding target member having a hole portion for receiving the first member are provided. Pressing force is applied between the two members with the first member received in the hole portion, and a current is applied to a bonding target portion between the two members with the pressing force applied. The two members are of materials with different melting points. One of the two members, having lower melting point, has a heat capacity increasing portion in the vicinity of the target portion. The one of the members has a taper face at the target portion, and the heat capacity increasing portion has a face extending from the taper face. The force applying step is performed with the other member positioned not to contact the heat capacity increasing portion.

An excellent soldering apparatus and manufacturing method of soldered product are provided where a workpiece can be efficiently soldered in a short cycle time. The soldering apparatus includes a thermal radiation heater and two coolers for cooling the workpiece which sandwich the heater therebetween. The coolers are movable between a standby position and a cooling position and form a recessed portion in which the heater is placed. The coolers move to the standby position where the coolers are separated from the workpiece and stand by such that the heater is in a state of protruding from the recessed portion while the heater heats the workpiece. The coolers can move from the standby position to the cooling position to cool the workpiece.

An object is to provide a static synchronous compensator and a voltage control method capable of adjusting the voltage in a single-phase AC power system. The static synchronous compensator according to the invention generates a second axis voltage command from the difference between the DC voltage converted by a single-phase voltage AC-DC conversion circuit and a set DC voltage command. When the voltage (the voltage of an AC terminal) of the single-phase AC power system increases, since the difference between the voltage of the AC terminal and an internal electromotive force increases, the static synchronous compensator carries out a PWM control to decreases the voltage of the AC terminal side of the single-phase voltage AC-DC conversion circuit. Since the voltage of the single-phase voltage AC-DC conversion circuit becomes lower than the voltage of the single-phase AC power system, an ineffective current flows from single-phase AC power system in the static synchronous compensator so that the voltage of the single-phase AC power system can be decreased.

[Problem] To provide a distributed power system capable of continuously supplying electric power to a load even when a system voltage of the electric power system becomes abnormal. [Solution] A DC/DC converter (11) converts DC current generated by solar power generation facility to DC current with a predetermined output voltage, and an inverter (12) converts the DC current converted by the DC/DC converter (11) to an AC current which is output to a electric power system (15) via a system interconnect switch (14). When the system voltage of the electric power system (15) is abnormal, a control device (20) makes the system interconnect switch (14) open to switch operation modes of the DC/DC converter (11) and inverter (12) to a self-sustaining operation without stopping the DC/DC converter (11) and inverter (12), and supplies electric power to a load (17) connected between the inverter (1) and the system interconnect switch (14).

Provided are: a formic acid decomposition apparatus which can dispose of formic acid safely and quickly and determine the activity of a packed catalyst; and a formic acid decomposition method. This formic acid decomposition apparatus is to be used in decomposing formic acid contained in an exhaust gas into water and carbon dioxide, said exhaust gas being discharged from a soldering device in which the reduction treatment of surface oxide film with formic acid has been conducted. The formic acid decomposition apparatus is provided with: a formic acid decomposition unit in which a formic acid decomposition catalyst is packed; a gas introduction pipe for introducing a formic acid-containing gas into the formic acid decomposition unit; and a gas introduction mechanism for introducing oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas into the formic acid decomposition unit. In the formic acid decomposition apparatus, the activity of the catalyst is determined on the basis of catalyst temperature change due to the heat generated in the decomposition reaction of formic acid. This formic acid decomposition method comprises: mixing oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas with a formic acid-containing exhaust gas discharged from a soldering device, in which the reduction treatment of surface oxide film with formic acid has been conducted, at a molar ratio of oxygen to formic acid (oxygen/formic acid) of 1.5 or more; subjecting the mixture to reaction in the presence of a formic acid decomposition catalyst; and thus decomposing the formic acid into water and carbon dioxide.
