A structural scheme of designing multi-component systems of fabric for clothing was developed. By analyzing the process with the help of IDEF method we revealed the main functional subsystems of design, which help solve the tasks of modelling multi-component systems of fabric. Data flows among the subsystems, which execute separate design functions, were identified.

The article presents the results of experimental study of heat-proofing qualities of modern insulations and bags of garments. On the basis of grapho-analytical method a model of comprehensive evaluation of heat-proofing qualities of bags was built, which enables a rational choice for clothing used in different climatic conditions.
