By use of three-dimensional nonlinear dynamic finite element program LS-DYNA, a series of numerical simulations of pelletrator with enhanced lateral effect (PELE), which had the same projectile structure and material, pentetrate different metal targets with the same velocities (900~1300 m·s-1) were presented. The simulation results were compared with the experimental and in good agreement with the experimental data. The corresponding theoretical analysis between the results of simulation and experiment shows that the process of the inertia compression has much to do with the effect for PELE, and the PELE has better lateral effect with the increasing of density and bulk modulus of the target.

To automatically and accurately locate the burst point of Long-range Rocket Launcher (LRRL), a Burst Point Locating System (BPLS) was designed based on the short-baseline acoustic detecting technology. A stereoscopic six-element sensors array was designed with its corresponding mathematical locating models. The feasibility of using BPLS to locate the burst point of the armour-piercing & killing cluster warhead rocket which is the main rocket equipped for LRRL, was studied from the aspects of frequency, sound pressure, influence and precision. The result shows that BPLS is in accord with the LRRL and meets its fighting demand, and the system can accurately locate the burst point. The research offers reference for development of future acoustic detecting equipments.

This paper expatiates the realization procession and key technology of neural network in fault diagnosis platform in detail, which combined with the realization of fault diagnosis platform based on neural network. Then we have carried on amiss control coding of the output cells in the deferent communication. So we have carried out mapping class once more of type and type of coding and carried out mapping class in reverse during the period of decoding. Using the theory and realization of intelligent BIT, we have gotten the development trend of fault diagnosis system, the use of neural network in intelligent BIT and the idiographic configuration of neural network in intelligent BIT, under the environment of hardware and software platform. © 2011 IEEE.
