The present invention addresses the problem of implementing a pulley device with an embedded unidirectional clutch, with which the influence of auxiliary automobile machinery on a rotary shaft due to fluctuations in the rotation of the engine can be sufficiently reduced. A sleeve (1b) is configured from an inner-diameter-side sleeve (24) and an outer-diameter-side sleeve (25), a unidirectional clutch (3) is provided between the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25) and a pulley (2), and a coiled torsion spring (18a) capable of transmitting torque between the inner-diameter-side sleeve (24) and the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25) is provided between these members (24, 25). When the rotational speed of the pulley (2) becomes slower than the rotational speed of the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25), the inner-diameter-side sleeve (24) and the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25) rotate relative to one another due to the elastic force of the coiled torsion spring (18a), until the elastic force of the coiled torsion spring (18a) is released, after which the unidirectional clutch (3) becomes incapable of transmitting torque between the pulley (2) and the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25).

Thick sections 13 are formed in portions on both end sections in the axial direction of the column sections 3a that are continuous with the pair of rim sections 2a.

A steering apparatus includes: an input shaft of which one end is connected to a steering wheel; and a steering column that rotatably supports the input shaft. The steering column includes a cylindrical outer column and a cylindrical inner column that is partially inserted into the outer column and guides the outer column in an axial direction. There are provided a ball screw that more efficiently prevents accumulation and scattering of extra grease in a nut and a seal used in the ball screw. In order to do that, in a ball screw (1), a grease reservoir portion (33) is provided on an inner peripheral surface of a seal (30) provided at at least one end of ends of a nut (20) in a moving direction of the nut (20) so as to form a space with respect to a screw shaft (10). The grease reservoir portion is open to an outer peripheral surface of the seal (30) and communicates with slits (34) formed on the outer peripheral surface of the seal (30).
