In this thesis, the ultra-high hardness armor steel was investigated in laboratory. Study on the smelting process, add a few alloy elements, using electric furnace smelting + LF furnace refining + feeding of Si-Ca silk + the VD vacuum degassing process, decrease the amounts of P, S in this steel. During the heat treatment process, the comprehensive mechanical performance armor steel has been obtained with the heat treatment temperature of 210°C. To test resistance to the elastic energy by 105 analog penetrators with the projectile velocity of 1380~1440 m/s, this steel armor-piercing protection factor of 1.38 to 1.44.
