In order to design H2/H∞ PID controller, this paper proposed a novel niche quantum genetic algorithm that was based on chaotic mutation operator. The simulation results show that, it can obtain better effect when adopting this optimization algorithm to solve constrained optimization problems. The simulation of the super steam temperature control also demonstrates this method's validity, and meanwhile, this algorithm still performs well in model mismatch circumstances, and it's useful in engineering. © 2011 IEEE.

There are many factors that influence short-term load forecasting(STLF), how to justify and select the correlative factors is the key to improve the performance of load forecasting. A reduction algorithm based on rough set theory is proposed to mine more correlative attributes in the pending forecasting components. A reduction algorithm through classification reliability algorithm which with certain noise and having very good cover ability and generalizable ability through set classification reliability-β is introduced to overcome the large computational complexity of conventional reduction algorithm.

Enterprise sustainable development emphasizes coordination of the development of economy, environment and society. The life cycle cost based on the sustainable development controls the engineering cost as well as environmental pollution and damage. The thermal power plant burns large amount of fossil fuels and discharge pollutants which cause serious pollution. Therefore the pollution control and ecological conservation make up important parts of construction and production cost, both of which are key parts of life cycle cost. This paper uses analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to estimate the life cycle cost and helps the enterprise to make social or temporal comparison and potentiality exploitation and to improve its sustainable development capability. © (2010) Trans Tech Publications.

The step length option is very important, but it is very difficult to choose reasonable step length in power system transient stability numerical calculation method. Implicit tuned Taylor series method not only has high accuracy but also is A stable method of the time domain. In order to improve its simulation speed, this paper analyzes the relationship of truncation errors, the analytical solution and the numerical solution in the power system transient stability simulation. An effective variable step method based on implicit tuned Taylor series method is put forward. This method not only uses the relationship of the order and calculation accuracy but also utilizes the features of "predictor-corrector" method in the algorithm of implicit tuned Taylor series. This method is almost no extra cost in order to realize the variable step long method. So this method shortens the time of simulation process by effectively reducing the calculation times. Simulation experiments show that this effective variable step method can greatly shorten simulation time and have more efficiency than fixed step Implicit tuned Taylor series method. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media.

In order to meet the request of fast access of power system simulation software base on Oracle, two methods based on OCI (Oracle Class Interface) technology are presented in this paper. The method of Binding array is used for reading data and the method of direct path load is used for writing Oracle database.Compared with prevalent ADO or ODBC technology, OCI has more efficient in writing or reading bulk data from Oracle. With these methods, it can meet the real time requirements of power system simulation. OCI has greater scope comparing with other methods, and OCI is more suitable for power system simulation requirements. At last, a simulation example and partial codes are provided. © The Authors.

A dynamic two-phase imbalance mechanism model of pressurizer in pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plant was built based on some reasonable simplifications and basic assumptions. During the detailed reduction, the equations of energy conservation, mass and momentum conservation are used in obtaining a dynamic two-phase imbalance mechanism model. Considering the influence of the spray flow, heater and safety valve, a pressurizer system was also established upon the Star-90 simulation platform by means of module packaging. The two step disturbances of heater power and spray flow rate were used to test model's dynamic characteristic while the pressurizer was at full running. The simulation results were compared with the original data obtained by a foreign PWR nuclear power plant simulator. The results show that the mechanism model of pressurizer has good dynamic performance and high accuracy. © 2011 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

The inclusion process between β-cyclodextrin and the imidazolium cation was studied both experimentally and theoretically. The UV-Vis and fluorscence spectra show that the binding constants of the complex is 24 M -1 and 621 M -1 in the ground state and the first singlet excited state respectively. Furthermore, DFT and TDDFT study proves that conformal changing of imidazolium cation suits the cavity of β-cyclodextrin upon excitation.

Based on the transformer winding inductance model which presented by P.I. Fergested, a new kind of calculation method is presented, which the inductance parameters are divided into the hollow inductance and core inductance two separate parts, each part is divided into self-inductance and mutual-inductance, while the related parameter values are discussed. The measurement results are consistent with the calculation results of the inductance parameters in an actual transformer winding model, which verifies the calculation method is correct and feasible, the theoretical basis can be provided for accurately analyzing the very fast transient process in the transformer winding. © 2011 IEEE.
