Enterprise sustainable development emphasizes coordination of the development of economy, environment and society. The life cycle cost based on the sustainable development controls the engineering cost as well as environmental pollution and damage. The thermal power plant burns large amount of fossil fuels and discharge pollutants which cause serious pollution. Therefore the pollution control and ecological conservation make up important parts of construction and production cost, both of which are key parts of life cycle cost. This paper uses analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to estimate the life cycle cost and helps the enterprise to make social or temporal comparison and potentiality exploitation and to improve its sustainable development capability. © (2010) Trans Tech Publications. In order to meet the request of fast access of power system simulation software base on Oracle, two methods based on OCI (Oracle Class Interface) technology are presented in this paper. The method of Binding array is used for reading data and the method of direct path load is used for writing Oracle database.Compared with prevalent ADO or ODBC technology, OCI has more efficient in writing or reading bulk data from Oracle. With these methods, it can meet the real time requirements of power system simulation. OCI has greater scope comparing with other methods, and OCI is more suitable for power system simulation requirements. At last, a simulation example and partial codes are provided. © The Authors. Based on the transformer winding inductance model which presented by P.I. Fergested, a new kind of calculation method is presented, which the inductance parameters are divided into the hollow inductance and core inductance two separate parts, each part is divided into self-inductance and mutual-inductance, while the related parameter values are discussed. The measurement results are consistent with the calculation results of the inductance parameters in an actual transformer winding model, which verifies the calculation method is correct and feasible, the theoretical basis can be provided for accurately analyzing the very fast transient process in the transformer winding. © 2011 IEEE.
