Dagouyuangou vanadium mine is a newly discovered middle-scale vanadium deposit in Shaanxi Province, that belongs to mineralization of black rock series in middle belt of south Qin- ling multi-metals ore-forming zone. On the basis of researching metallogenic geology environment, deposit geological feature and comprehensive information of mineralization, the author analyzed the metallogenesis of the deposit and considered that Cambrian Shuigoukou Formation is main ore-hosted position of vanadium and gold. Carbonaceous argillite and carbon-bearing quar- Tzose sandstone or carbonaceous silicalite are favorable host rocks as well as direct signs for exploration. The genesis of this vanadium deposit belongs to organic matter participated seafloor hydrothermal sedimentary reformation deposit. Source

According to research achievement of mineral exploration in depth of Xiaoqinling golddeposit region and prospecting practice for Chen'er gold ore deposit, it concluded that Xiaoqinling gold deposit region is another super-large ore cluster region, which have superior exploration condition and potential in depth. It has large favorable districts for exploration located in depth or surrounding of known deposits. Some exploration targets should be paid attention to such as extending, lateral currence, and wedge out of main orebody. There is possiblity to find structure altered rock type gold deposit in depth of quartz vein type gold deposit. On the base of strengthening geology synthetical study and understanding metallogenic regularity, the effective methods for exploration in depth includes geology, geophysics, and geochemistry comprehensive new techniques, and so on. It can forecast deep enriched section of orebody by using the geochemical axis zoned model, and prove by drill project in hole. Source
