The Nanling Scientific Drilling-1 of the Sinoprobe Progress (abbreviation as SP-NLSD-1) is situated at Yinkeng area, Yudu County, southern Jiangxi Province. Tectonically, it is located on the connection part of EW-trending Nanling structural-magmatic metallogenic belt and NE-trending Wuyi metallogenic belt, which is one of the best areas to do the research on the crustal structures and deep metallogenic mechanism. The NLSD-1 is started at June 25, 2011, and finished at July 22, 2013. The main borehole had been drilled to the depth of 2967. 83m, with all the cores had been in its position accurately. Our research team has built up a refined logging rule which is applicable to the scientific drilling in mining area. Meanwhile, the petrologic, structural, mineralization, geochemical, petrophysical and other refined profiles of NLSD-1 has been established and a number of important investigations have been carried out. The Nappe structure (Fl) that controlling the intrusions and ore-bodies in Yinkeng region is uncovered at the depth of 1373.71m. The upper strata of Fl are pyroclastic rocks of Kuli Formation of the Qingbaikou System, while strata below Fl are marine-terrigenous facies sediments of Leping-Chetou-Xiaojiangbian (Qixia) Formation of the Permian System. Twenty-nine magmatic dykes (granite porphyry, rhyolite porphyry, granodiorite porphyry and dioritic porphyrite), hundrends of veinlet-stockwork-disseminated lead-zinc-copper-gold-silver mineralization zones in the shallow part and veinlet-disseminated tungsten-bismuth mineralization information in the deep part had been uncovered. Basically, the preliminary scientific objective of the Nanling Scientific Drilling-1 has been achieved.

The Shizishan ore deposit in Yimen County of Central Yunnan Province is a typical Dongchuan type bedded ore deposit occurring in Yimen aulacogen of Kunyang rift within Proterozoic Yangtze Continent which was formed by syngenetic deposit and second enrichment under the Kunyang rift background, and its ore bodies occur in Etouchang Formation, Luoxue Formation and Yiming Formation, and genesis of deposit is hot brine sediment Dongchuan type ore deposit. The formation of ore deposit can be divided into simultaneously produce stage, diagenesis stage, and later produce stage. The Shizishan ore deposit formed in simultaneously produce stage, consolidated in diagenesis stage and late magmatic activity plays a certain role in enrichment effort and transformation effort. This paper considers that the ore deposit is controlled obviously by such factors as strata, lithology, lithofacies and paleogeographical environment, structure and magmatic activity, and belongs to hydrothermal fluid transformation type. The authors analyzed and summed up the metallogenic factors and put forward the prospecting criteria for Shizishan area. On such a basis, the prospecting directions in the Shizishan deposit and its adjacent areas are pointed out.
