An explosively formed penetrator(EFP) with canted fins has the advantages of stable flight under the conditions of long stand-off distance. To study the method of obtaining EFP with canted fins, a flake structure was designed, which was bonded to the internal surface of spherical segment charge liner. An EFP with canted fins was obtained when the charge was detonated at the center point; the influence of the flake structure parameter on the EFP formation was analyzed. The result shows that the canted angle of fins can increase through increasing the angle and inner diameter of the flake's breach and decreasing the thickness of flake. Source

To study the power of exposed Lead Cable(LC) in the air and LC covered with water destroying Double Hollow Tempered Glass(DHTG), the experiment device of double hollow glass was designed, in which the charge was initiated by 8# electric detonation. The model of detonation product affecting DHTG was built. By Lagrangian algorithm, the detonation of exposed LC in the air and LC covered with water was calculated respectively. The theory analysis and experiment results show that the double glass was destroyed by detonation-wave pressure and detonation-product pressure respectively while LC covered with water destroying DHTG. The simulation results futher verify that the pressure of detonation gas of LC covered with water declines slowly, and the destroying power improves remarkably. Source
