In this paper, we proposed an efficient authentication and access control method based on general view of the security issues for perception layer of Internet of Things (IoT). The advantage of the proposed method is establishing session key based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). This enhances mutual authentication between the user and sensor nodes, and intermediate processes. On the other hand, this method solves the resource-constrained problem in perception layer of the Internet of Things. © 2014 NSP Natural Sciences Publishing Cor.

In real life transportation, we sense the environment not only using our eyes, but also using our ears. The acoustic environment contributes a big part of human's sensing and shall be integrated into the existing internet of vehicles (IOV). The vehicles can communicate with each other via the propagation of the sound they make. The recorded sound signals, with some signal processing applied, can be used to obtain the location of the nearby vehicles and also be sent to the driver to increase his/her awareness of the situation even if the physical sound has been blocked by the door or window of the vehicle. In this paper, we propose such an acoustic IOV using an integrated system of microphone arrays and digital signal processors (DSPs). © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Energy aware routing is a critical issue in WSN. Prior work in energy aware routing concerned about transmission energy consumption and residual energy, but often do not consider path hop length, which leads to unnecessary consumption of power at sensor nodes. Improved algorithm adds the control of routing hops. Simulation proof the improved algorithm is feasible, effectively reducing the network delay and the path of energy consumption. Taking into account the WSN is dynamic, in the end we put up dynamic hops control in order to adapt to WSN and select the optimal path. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

With demand grows for ways to connect information systems with the real world. The quality of geographic information service has become a critical factor in the success of the service application. However, how to get a reasonable assessment of geographic information services is a complex issue. This paper studied the availability, stability, responsiveness and service quality of samples, and also analyzed the quality and current application of SWE geographic information services published, based on the monitoring model with a random collection of SWE addresses posted on the Internet. The ranking of coaches is of great significance for sports teams to find talented coaches. Traditional ranking mechanism is relatively subjective which is usually accomplished by voting. In this paper, we establish a ranking mechanism based on both subjective and objective factors. We use data mining method to classify and analyze the data. The regression tree and the decision tree (CART) are used to narrow down the number of coaches to a reasonable scale. We put forward our AHP model to rank the "candidates" and propose a coach rating analysis system (CRAS) for evaluating the accuracy of system. We verify our ranking system more comprehensive in terms of the evaluation of the coaches through analyzing the result. The proposed mechanism is also significant to find potential coaches. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
